Also consider things like blacking out your account number and name, might be wise.

Not sure if BM is trying to detect something here as they hyave elevated the KYC requests AFTER asking for the inital ID and photo, as if they are in an investigation.

But it doesn't feel like an investigation by BM, they would suspend things if that was the case.

    Sup BM?

    Thanks for posting that.

I'm surprised, but Bookmaker rep is definitely saying they are reporting payouts to the US IRS

The reference to the 1040-SR form might be a clue. That is only for people over 65 years old.

If your ID does not say you are that old, I would ask them why they think that form applies to get started.

And then ask if they are a non-USA company or not? And if not, why they report anything to the US govt.

I could have sworn I just posted the image about the "it's not just winnings" form the OP.

Was trying to keep it the relevant images, although they kind of are all relevant.

Did I not submit or did you accidentally delete? Maybe I didn't submit it, lol.

Either way, when the players asks a second time about reporting winnings, the KYC rep says it's due diligence.

I think there is a misinterpretaion here. Does BM deal with BTC exchanges? Maybe that's where the forms are generating, if at all.

I removed the post as a duplicate as I had just posted it too.

Just trying to keep the thread followable for our OP.

lol you had me seriously confused.

Also I posted a link a few posts back, let me know if that was the wrong thing to do, or just edit the post if necessary.

Hope all is well opti. Will be ringing you soon once I take care of a few loose ends over here, too many projects for me at the moment.

I still think it's an interpretation issue here and that the KYC rep may have somewhat misspoke.

Working on the rest of the emails. Just trying to condense them as needed. Could a moderator change this thread title to "Bookmaker refusing payout unless I video call them, also requesting tax related info"

Nothing is wrong mate. But now there is another four posts of no real interest to the OP or helpful in working out what is going on. Just trying to keep the thread on track and the OP asking what I want him to instead of speculating about side issues.

Can you please try asking these two questions of BM?

Yeah I was tryinto do the same, but just posting the relevant images (but like I said, I suppose it's all relevant).

Kind of 2 issues here, one is the KYC elevations, which is what is really getting the OP.

The other is what appears to be a bit of an "off the cuff" remark by the KYC rep and a poor answer to the OP's follow up question to him.

Yeah, I think the KYC rep is a little off here.

Along with those questions regarding docs they want the OP to send, Clark, you should ask him what they sent to the IRS, specifically.

Don't even bother with trap questions like "USA company or not?" Just ask them what they sent to the IRS.

I'm guessing there is no answer for that.

Can't imagine why they would ever send anything to the IRS when they aren't even compliant. Unless I'm mistaken I didn't get the impression that bookmaker pays US taxes.

My guess is he pissed off the KYC team and they are seriously trolling the OP, which is a very bad look from Bookmaker but with a few of those emails he struck a nerve. If people start thinking bookmaker is reporting winning/BTC transactions there’s going to major backlash. KYC team probably thought this would never be published online and here we are.

Thats some funny shit. How much money are we talking about here SClark2000? My guess is they will make you jump through a few more hoops, pay you, and then close your account without any tax forms. That’s what Tony would’ve done after he talked to you on the phone and chewed you a new asshole.

Bookmaker reports your winnings to the IRS so that it decreases your net income and in turn reduces their income.

    0% chance this happens.

I have all the emails screenshotted and ready to upload, including those questions. Is there any way you can change the title of this thread, and then I will edit the OP to include all the links, just so it's presented in a more organized manner?

They clearly think you’re not Solomon Clark and traced your bitcoin to another player. How much money are we talking about here? They’re working you over because they know you cannot provide the proof for the withdrawal. I read all of the chats and everything points to you getting caught multi-accounting.

I've provided everything they're asking for to prove who I am. I told them I will video chat them anytime, and as soon as I said that, they say actually we don't need it lol.

I don’t think you’re going to get any help at SBR since they are now legalized Sportsbook facing. Find another forum or website that has better communication with bookmaker.com and they may be able to help.

In the last emails, it sounds like he'll be paid now, so I guess it will be fine.

From my experience, usually it's better to approach the bookie in a more formal way. But obviously, a support agent trolling the user (that's what he did, I'd say, including the part about tax doxuments) shouldn't happen, no matter what.

To answer the previous poster the payout is for my balance of $25k. When this all started I had $55k on and was gonna cash it all out. I ended up losing the $30k because I'm a piece of shit loser. Part of me thinks that's why they did this. They knew I wouldn't be able to say no. I know 25k ain't crazy money but to me it is. 55k was gonna be life changing

Clark maybe ease off on hounding them.

Not sure how long one should wait, to be honest, but it's too soon to say they are ignoring you, I think.

Also you may be past the point of more threats, especially about a thread, let them digest it all and pay you.

I simply don't think you will get stiffed here.

But I also don't like the shenanigans that feel like they are so 20 years ago (or 10, or 5 or even 2 for some houses..lol).
