Who Makes the College Football Playoff

    Current Top 12 Teams

    1. Georgia
    2. Ohio St
    3. Michigan
    4. TCU
    5. Tennessee
    6. Oregon
    7. LSU
    8. Alabama
    9. USC
    10. Clemson

    11. Ole Miss
    12. UCLA

    I think its

    1. Georgia
    2. Ohio St
    3. Oregon
    4. Tennessee

I think Georgia, Ohio St, and Oregon win out and TCU falters to Texas along with Michigan losing to Ohio St to make room for Tennessee making the fourth spot even without a Title game.

I guarantee you Michigan won't make it. Ohio State will beat the hell out of Michigan. They will be knocked out of the Top 4.

Agreed. I see Michigan losing by like 2 scores or so.

Was hoping for a book to post an early line on this game. Sometimes BO posts one.... nothing yet. I believe it's a DD win also. Michigan QB is super fragile mentally on his throws. Not very accurate IMO. All Michigan can do is run.... and Ohio State needs to shut it down. Once Michigan needs to throw every down to get back into the game.... game over.

What would really suck is it if LSU somehow manages to beat Georgia in the SEC Championship Game and TCU loses at some point. There is a decent chance the SEC could get 3 teams in the playoff.

That's why I am an Arkansas fan this weekend and Gamecock fan on the 19th. I wouldn't mind seeing LSU get in, but forget Tennessee. I just don't like them.

if lsu beats uga, they supersede tennesee. the resume with wins over alabama and uga would speak volumes. fsu was a fluke loss. i love the dawgs, but an lsu win would make things the most interesting and demand and expanded playoff. that being said they have to beat arky first.

2 loss bama isn't going to any playoff without a conf chip. 2 sec teams would be uga and lsu.

Yeah and than maybe Tennessee as well if TCU loses and they want to put them in over Michigan if they have one loss or a one loss PAC 12 Champ which I don’t think they would but you never know.

Pac 12 took a big hit yesterday with both Oregon and UCLA losing. Their last chance is now with USC.

New top 10 by the the end of the year

    1. Georgia
    2. Ohio St
    3. TCU
    4. Tennessee
    5. Michigan
    6. Alabama
    7. Clemson
    8. Utah
    9. Penn St
    10. North Carolina

Still a chance for Michigan if they were to lose to Ohio St in a close enough game if TCU or Tennessee were to lose by the end of the year and LSU loses as well and USC doesn't go on a run.

    1. Georgia
    2. Ohio St
    3. TCU
    4. Tennessee
    5. Michigan
    6.

I didn't see TCU winning and both Oregon and UCLA losing.

I think the real winners were the ACC teams. If both Clemson and UNC run the table (which is fairly likely) I think the winner of the ACC championship will get selected over 2 loss SEC teams and 1 loss TCU or USC.

USC has imo the toughest road. They have to win out @UCLA, Notre Dame, and the winner of Oregon/Utah in Vegas AND they'll need other teams to lose.

If USC runs the table, beating UCLA, ND, Championship game, they will jump Tennessee for the 4 spot. The committee values conference champions. It prevents a rematch with Georgia as well. Winning those last 3 games gives USC a better resume as well.

Of course not. Should be a close tight game like a lot of TCU games.

I see the ACC being basically done unless LSU, Michigan, TCU, and USC all lose by the season end. I don't see Clemson getting in over a one loss Tennessee team even if they crushed North Carolina in the ACC title game.

Tennessee would have the better resume even without a conference title game with wins over LSU and Alabama.

It will be interesting to see what they do with a 1 loss USC team based on what happens with the other teams. Georgia is a virtual lock to make the playoff and Ohio St is highly likely.

If Michigan who is favored to lose by season's end, TCU who is favored to lose by season's end, and LSU who is favored to lose by season's end all lose, I see Tennessee getting in and the fourth spot coming down to USC and Michigan.

In that case, the committee would probably take USC because they would definitely have a better resume with better overall wins, an extra game, and they would be a conference champion. USC will most likely lose though since they could easily lose any of their remaining games.

I must be missing something. How is this going to hit if one of your four teams isn’t Georgia. They are a virtual lock to make the playoff.

If I’m not missing something Fanduel is robbing people by offering this. If all these four teams have to make the playoff the odds should be a lot a lot higher. There is no way the odds of these exact four teams making the playoff is that low.
