Up 16 with 7 minutes left? Kinda. They were 99.4% chance to win at that point.

I had those fukkers TP over 109.5 to finish off a 3 game parlay. Took them live under 115.5 to try and middle. Lucky to hit that Hawks over though.

How about all the "bridge jumpers" trying to make some fast food money by taking the team with the big lead in-game on the moneyline at a crazy price?
NBA leads to suicide for these guys.

Fukk. I also had Mitchell over 36.5 pts rebounds & assists parlayed with Durant over 50.5.

Mitchel had 32 going into the 4th quarter.

Been saying this forever. He's certainly not a playoff coach either. Doesn't understand matchups at all. Kerr took him to school.

    Poor coaching
It's called this is exactly what the NBA had in mind when they incorporated the three point shot all those years ago.

It's not like GS is one of the greatest three point shooting teams in history.

In as span of 80 seconds Klay hit three three point shots and Wiggins had one.
Off on two missed jumpers and a Donovan Mitchell turnover.

And there's your 16 point lead down to four points.

Shocker., Klay got hot, it's not like he's never done that before.

I went 2-0 Tuesday, 2-0 Wednesday, 2-0 Thursday, 4-0 Friday, 5-1 yesterday. My only loss was Utah -2.

Tough one to swallow, but I certainly cant complain about scooping up cash left and right lately.

    You got that right.
Money doesn't talk, it swears obscenities.

Once again, if this were the Knicks last night than there might be cause for alarm.
The fact that GSW did it is not really a big deal.
How many times has Steph (who did not play last night) and Klay, and the rest of the Dubs wiped out a double digit lead in the past in two minutes or less?
The correct answer would be 'a lot of times'

I was sort of watching and I think at this stage they pulled the ML because it would have had to be too high. I think before that it was like +3000/-10000(not sure how many zeroes).

Ya. It's crazy the amount of people who put a -10000 moneyline fave into an in-game parlay. It makes no sense. If does very little to change the payout and it's another game you have to win/worry about.

I was up at the two Connecticut casinos last month during the conference tournaments, checking out the new Fanduel (Mohegan Sun) and Draftkings (Foxwoods).
There were SO MANY guys in their 20s there and they were all cheering on these big moneyline faves to just win the game. It was fascinating to watch. I asked a group of them what their "strategy" was, and they told me that they parlay like 6 or 7 huge moneyline faves in-game (at the kiosks) to churn out a profit.
9 out of 10 times they will hit, but it's that one time where their bankroll goes up in flames when the other team comes back and wins.
    Bridgejumping.
It's like betting on 1/5 horse to "show" in a seven-horse field, and it comes in fourth-place.
    Books absolutely love this.
Why bet your weekly paycheck to win a meal at Burger King?

And not only that, but you're generally paying extra juice for that. The spread might be +1800/-10000 or something like that. People think you can turn a bad bet into a good one by combining a bunch of bad ones together. It really is fascinating.

Another "strategy"...although far less risky than "bridge jumping" is waiting for a big favorite to fall behind early in a game, and then betting on them at a better number/price.

A lot of people talk about this strategy (even guys I respect on VSIN)....but I would advise against it.
It is NOT a +EV strategy.

Even though you're betting into a lower number/price than it was at the opening tip/kickoff/faceoff, it's still -EV.
Dogs win outright every night in every sport. And 13-point faves only win by a bucket every night, etc.

    ^^^^
    THIS.
The juice "straddle" makes it nearly impossible to win.

I was on the BetWynn app the other night at MSG. The Islanders were beating the Rangers 3-0 with about 15 minutes left in regulation.
The Rangers were +1200. The Islanders? Minus 44,000.
    Forty-four thousand to win $100!
That should be the line for a 3-0 game with :55 left. Not 15 minutes left.
And getting 12-1 back on the Rangers, down 3-0 with 15 minutes left is really not a good price either. Should be at least 25-1.
I can see someone taking the trailing team for pizza money down 3-0.
But laying $44,000 to win $100?
    Criminal.
    And then, suicidal.
