I’m saying the Celts are the beast of the East.

    What you say?

Who cares? The top 4 teams in the East are w/in 1 game of each other but put them in the West and they're battling for the 4th spot.

That's totally inappropriate. It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous.

    Good win tonight!

On their way to Toronto for a back to back tomorrow.

    Any score prediction BG?

I cashed my Celtics season season win total over bet with the C's win tonight. I thought that it wasn't looking good earlier in the season but they got it together and are playing like the best team in the league the last two months. It wouldn't surprise me to see them win the Eastern Conference but there's at least 3 other teams that I can see doing so in Philly, Brooklyn and Milwaukee.

Tough one to call tonight Checker. Line opened C’s -3 now it’s Toro -4, so I suspect Horford is out again as well as R. Williams ( sore knee) and Tatum & Brown are also nursing bad knees. I haven’t looked but I assume a combo of them are out that would explain the line switch.

Not to mention B2B and Toronto I’m sure wants to beat Boston.

Boston Celtics center Robert Williams suffered a meniscus tear in his left knee in Boston’s game against the Timberwolves, according to ESPN.

Williams injured his knee Sunday night in the second half of the Celtic’s win over Minnesota at TD Garden. He finished this game with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

An MRI confirmed the injury Monday. Williams is expected to miss several weeks, at minimum, ESPN reported.

Sunday’s win put the Celtics in the top spot in the Eastern Conference for the first time this season, and Williams has been an immense part of the NBA's best defense.

The 24-year-old is averaging 10 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.2 blocks for the Celtics.

So, today's line against Toronto opened at Boston -3 and it's now at Toronto -4.5.

Even with him out, I'm taking Boston. Is that a bad bet?

8 in some spots. Funny thing is that people were aware that this might transpire when they posted the opening line. That’s an 11 point delta to play with.

I understand the spread, but the total move might be overdone. I mean, someone's going to play and they're still going to score points. 208 seems low to me, but who knows.

You are 100% correct. I do think the numbers might match to that total, but 208 seems low. Although tough seeing Celts put together 100 points with the players that are going to be playing to match Phillys 108. Who knows.

This is a HUGE loss IMO. Williams and Horford are 2 guys that can bang with the bigs in the NBA. They are both lock down defenders that can guard all positions. Williams has shut down Embiid. Very underrated player.
