    Per Adam Schefter, the picks are a 1st (2022, 29th overall), a 2nd (2022, 50th overall), two 4ths (2022, 2023), and a 6th (2023).

I googled it after your post and you are pretty close but I think we can make exceptions for the really extraordinary players

    • Running backs: they tend to peak between 23 and 25. ...
    • Wide Receivers: they tend to peak around age 26 or 27, then decline gradually (about 50er year) after that.
    • Tight Ends: peak at 25, decline by about 5-100er year after that.
    • Quarterbacks: the data suggests that 28 or 29 may be when QBs are at their best.

They did win 8 out of their last 9 games. Their defense is pretty good. They have really good TE's, they improved the O line and now one of the best receivers in the entire NFL, maybe the best. Also Waddle had an amazing rookie years. He's like Hill in many ways.

    only one 1st round pick.

Yes sure they did all that. They don't have the guy that escapes the pocket for ages to throw to hill.

Reason is simple, Hill and KC were in a deadlock negotiating contract extension.

Big guaranteed money for Hill, $52 mill becomes guaranteed now. And an additional $20 mill next year
Not bad for a fifth round pick out of W Alabama. Chiefs turned that into quite the haul of draft picks to try and reload their team

Chiefs could use their two first round picks to move up, if necessary, to draft Osu’s Garrett Wilson
he is the perfect receiver for their offense, a “rac” type of Wr

Wow he must have another repeat offense the public hasn't heard about yet. Chiefs just let that kind of speed go while they have Mahomes

Chiefs are taking a page outta the Patriots playbook. Rookie contracts, free agency, collect draft choices.

This is a reaction to the Adams deal, teams like KC don't want to pay a receiver over 20 million a year.
