Nets are a good future bet now

Yea I think they at least win the EAST +325
    +600 for the whole thing
Look Simmons beefs up the defense and he does score
But he doesn't have to sweat jumpers just slash a few times
    and play tough D
The others they got in the trade were a gift they add value.
I think the covid vaccine ban will end soon and you'll have a new
3 headed monster with add ons (Curry Drummond and Dragic) I think they have the package to win now.
    Brown and Aldridge are helpful.
    Harden is over rated

    nope

Irving does not make others better

Great scorer but for some reason does not impact a game like Harden

    Maybe your right who knows

Not this again...Danny Morino has already taken Toronto and Boston to win this division. Now, you are taking the Nets. Who takes the Knicks next?

I do think they are better with him than with Harden. But will Simmons be rusty? Is he mentally strong enough to keep playing when it gets tough? still a lot of question marks around him.

The vaccine mandate for private companies in New York hasn't been lifted yet so Kyrie can't play in home games right now.

Cowherd just made a good case for BKN.
IF, KD is healthy and Kyrie is allowed to play in NYC, and if Simmons head is right, Cowherd says they'll get to the ECF.

    Only if...

Chicago is getting close but not there yet...They get blown out by good teams so Bucks 76ers and Nets
    Mia and Chic level 2
Lets see how Harden Mixes in Philly
And how hungry are the Bucks

True. Harden chokes though… does that mean you go Miami? I don’t think so because I think NBA really wants to see Philly v Brooklyn. If those two teams are in finals, I’m taking The Nets!

Books probably want Miami or Chitown though…

My thought right after the trade was the networks (ABC/ESPN/Turner) would make out great if they got some sort of Bucks/BKN/Phil combination in the ECF vs. GSW

The Warriors and Curry would give the networks the most bang or their buck vs, either a Giannis team, a Harden team, or KD team.

Any combination of that would do well in the finals.

I think the casual (which most of us are not) fan really doesn't care at all that much about LAC, or Utah, or even the Suns, especially without Paul.

    Weong!

He's taken Toronto, Boston, Philly, Warriors, Suns, Jazz, Nuggets, Heat, Bulls, and Nets, but, of course, he also sold half of those futures at great value!

I'm saying I'm throwing them in the mix.
I'm not crowning them champs of anything, but you have to put them in the mix.
    Yeesh.

No, the Bulls are fake, they aren't remotely close to being the mix. Even Boston would destroy them.

I watched some of Nets game last night, they were brutal.
Yeah, yeah, I get it, no Kyrie, no Durant, Harden gone, what do you expect?

Well, I expected the two ancillary pieces, Mills and Drummond to step up.
    Both were ugly as sin.
Drummond started and got benched, he was that bad.
He was sloppy as shit, turned to ball over three times to start, the sharp shooter Mills made one shot all night, threw up five bricks...

The bench, especially the pivot guys Aldridge and Griffin were ineffective.
Dragic looked like a rusty 35 year old guard, which is what he is right now.

Brown played well, I always thought he is one of the better off the bench guys in the league.
Give him starters minutes he'll always give you 16 points as second or third option, and he's smart.
Right now he's a starter because Lance and Blake are washed up.

    Seth shot well enough.
Without both Kyrie playing everyday and KD healthy BKN is going no where.
Even with one of the two they're going nowhere.

    I saw enough last night.
Dragic, Aldridge, and Griffin are over the hill, so is James Johnson.

Not for nothing, what's up with Siakam?
That was some really bad shooting.
2 for 14, 1 -5 from three points, he was laying so many bricks you would think he has a masons union card.

    Scottie Barnes was lights out.

Biggest disgrace, 230 points in a game with such bad shooting.
NBA is a joke, it's like a fart joke gone bad.
NBA is for the most part unwatchable.

They pay these frauds millions to shoot like that?
Yeah, frauds would be the correct adjective.

Adams came out today and said allowing Kyrie to play sends the wrong message. Just another dumb statement from a clueless democrat. It looks like New York may not lift their mandate for private companies before the playoffs.

It’s hilarious how they still have pretty chalk odds do not even going to make the playoffs
