Mavs Went On a 26-1 Run in the 4th Quarter @ Golden State

I had Dallas +3.5 and figured they had blown their wad the first time they cut the 21 point deficit to 6, only to see it balloon back to 21 again in the 3rd quarter. They rallied all over again and held on for the outright win.

That's the one thing about this league, never over til it's over.

NBA is unbettable. Teams can't win games anymore with 21 point lead. Larry Bird and Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan never lost a 21 point lead.

Ridiculous comment. Greatest shooter ever and hasn’t slipped at all.

Pretty much why you can't bet NBA and watch it.

Curry has indeed slipped; not counting 2019 (only five games played), his FG% and 3 pt. FG% are at career lows and his ppg is the lowest since 2016. Still a force but not what he was.

Annoying as hell… I was monitoring this game waiting for the comeback and was gonna take Mavs every step of the way (live) on the comeback, as in ‘banking and reinvesting’ …normally a scary way to go about it, but has to be the right spot. I kept waiting and waiting, even taking. Mavs +15.5 and 12.5, but not feeling great about it because warriors like to extend leads. I wanted take these live bets on the downslope.. anyway, I jumped in my car, drove 10 minutes, took 5 minutes to find parking, and checked the score…only to find out I missed the whole comeback(it happened too fast)…too late to do what I wanted…not cool.

No, they are trash. Poole is the only reliable player.

    How about 20 point leads?

POOF! BULLS BLOW BIG LEAD IN LOSS

One sees the record of the Orlando Magic and figures to see more undeserving millionaires than there are in Congress. One expects to hear that Milli and Vanilli are on their roster. Certainly there are some guys out there who must be impersonating pro basketball players with that record.
But even if their sneaker deals are with brand X, the Magic made the big guys shake in their expensive shoes, coming back from a 20-point fourth-quarter deficit to tie the game at 108 with 43 seconds left on Stanley Roberts` second consecutive slam dunk, and then squashed their hopes for a ninth straight victory with a shocking 111-108 upset.

Two things have dramatically increased the variance in the NBA: the huge reliance on the three pointer and the unreliable discipline and focus of today's extremely unintelligent players; I can't even begin to figure out the NBA. One of my friends loves to bet the NBA and he gets crushed, so much to the point that I've actually entertained the thought of asking for his picks ostensibly to follow but in reality to fade. I did make a bet for him last week: $2,400 on NO (at -600) not to make the eight team playoff; after telling him he was crazy for laying that kind of juice, NO beats Phx and LAL to get into the top ten and the play-in games.
