    MLB delays start of spring training until March 5; CBA negotiations resume Monday

    No need for spring training games anymore; they'll come to an agreement in early March, play a week and a half of games and start the season on time.

    Im A huge MLB Guy but this year not worried about when they start because we have got USFL Action this spring.

    I like watching the odd game but hate the overpaid bastards(both sides)of entitlement.
    I do agree with you on cutting Spring Training and going straight to 162.

    Not for Phoenix and Florida....huge money lost.
    As a fan, who cares.
    I went 2 years ago to watch a few games and it was a Double A feel but fun.
