Marquette should be highly motivated for a victory tonight. They have lost three of their four games coming in with all three losses on the road by 8 points or less against Providence, Connecticut and Butler.
Now the Golden Eagles are back home where they are a perfect 5-0 SU & 5-0 ATS in their last five home games with wins over Villanova by 10, Xavier by 11 and Providence by 32. They should handle the Georgetown Hoyas for a 2nd time this season. They won 92-64 over Georgetown on January 7th on the road.
The Hoyas are 0-14 SU & 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games overall. They have been through the gauntlet this month and will be playing their 7th game in 16 days in February. This will be their 3rd game in 5 days as well, and I just don’t think they’ll have much left in the tank tonight.
Marquette comes in on three days’ rest and will be playing just its 2nd game in 8 days. The Golden Eagles are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Georgetown is 0-7 ATS in its last seven games vs. a team with a winning record.
