NFL TV ratings through the roof startling

As I like to say, even if it's the Lions v. Panthers, if it's on TV Joe Lunchbox will drop what they're doing and watch it.

    Pretty easy to understand

League stopped televising the BLM and kneeling crap

There's only 2 black head coaches

Prime time games feature middle aged white QBs

Refs doing their best to keep games close. 20+ point leads mean nothing when PI can be 60 yards

With the concentration on getting female fans and an active gay NFL player that has fabulously grabbed the attention of the LGBTQ+, I'm not all surprised.

The league had a lot of bad QBs there for a while. Mahomes, Mayfield, Allen have picked up the pace. Brady in TB adding some excitement. You score more, you get better ratings.

Everyone's at home, what else is there to do but watch sports and gamble. Gambling is a huge impact.

People don't go out of their way to watch Josh Allen.
Mahomes, Brady, and Rodgers yes, if they're on TV people will atop and watch, Josh Allen does not attract viewers though.
He doesn't have that 'it' factor.

It was increased offense by a number of new young QBs. Prior to that offense was brutal. If you increase offense, you will increase viewers. That is why the NFL and all sports work hard to increase offense. For the NFL, it had a reverse effect for a while when defenses adjusted and they had a sharp dropoff in QB quality. People will not watch the Brian Hoyers of the world play QB.

Past three or so years for me:

No NBA minus a minute or two here and there
    Very little MLB
    Very little NHL
Not a lot of NFL but more than the other three combined

    Lots of MMA and boxing

And I'm quite happy this way

    All of 'em Johnny.

As they say in the business, "Check your local listings"

I'm halfway between NYC and Boston in Ct.
CBS Boston feeds me all Patriots games, CBS New York feeds me all the Jets games (NY is channel 2, Boston is channel 3)
FOX 5 here feeds us all the NYG games.

No one is watching NFL 12 miles away from a US coast. They try to go to England a couple times a year but no one gives a fukk. The problem with NFL with growing overseas is takes 3.5 - 4 hrs to complete a game which has an actual playing time of 10 min. per game. You get 100 plays per game and each takes about 6 seconds average time to develop. The rest is flags, replays, time between plays, timeouts, shenanigans, etc

Yeah, huge weekend coming up, but too bad California doesn’t have sports betting as SF v La would’ve been a huge tv event.
