Dear new SBR owners
If I were you I wouldn't get rid of many of the perks associated with this site.
Sbr has evolved over time to meet the needs of it's audience.
The more you give the more you'll get.
Ya there will be a few freeloaders but the more numbers you draw the more profit you'll get
Bet points help some of us with gambling problems have something to wager in case we lose all our money.
Nothing I look forward to more than logging into SBR to get my daily bet points.

Legally the new buyers of sbr can't modify the contracts they have with sbr pros until their pro membership expires.
This is the principal of assignment - the contracts have been assigned.
That includes betpoints.
Obviously a pro membership doesn't guarantee the right to do things like play poker and exchange points for Bitcoin, bit many benefits pros have are contractual obligations that are simply assigned to the new owners.

Calling like I see it Rudy. couple weeks ago Jj was "touting Sbr pro membership renewals" and how great a book Bol and Uwager were. Jj dressing up as jessie "the sweat" coffield. now thom morino is organizing a class action lawsuit vs Sbr. things changing by the minute here at Sbr.
I think they need to bring Genie back to report on the daily "breaking news"

This is actually my biggest draw to the site. Before I would bet upwards of 2k on games, and I wouldn't even want to watch a game if I didn't have at least $300 riding on it. SBR point system seriously helped me curb my gambling addiction by giving me peace of mind in knowing that no matter what happened, the worst I would be down is $100 donation to charity for the year.
Over the years, it's gotten to the point where I now get the same rush betting 2k points on a game that I would putting 2 grand on a game because once you lose those points, you gotta work your ass off to build em up again. You can't just smash that deposit button and reload. I know a lot of people on here frown upon guys who primary use Betpoints, but I'm very grateful for the current system in place here. Would be pretty bummed if SBR axed the points set up.

so that is an attack on every single Pro, I was all set to renew. got the email reminder, went to renew Pro and the link was broke
Now I am glad I didn't, will wait to see if they make an even bigger shit mess of the site first

It has been interesting to watch first/second/third shift/Dk advocate/Jj repeatedly attack "Sbr panhandler" posters. while less than 2 weeks ago, he was hyping up Dominos pizza in the store. now, according to "Jj shifty/Dk" you are a "brokeass Pos", "brokedick loser", "broke panhandler" if you can't get your Dominos pizza

shari has seemed to work with books/players resolutions and combatting fraud at sbr
optional (as ive said for many years, even when i disliked the guy) is very informative at cryptos
why are they still here when its becoming a usa owned place?
it seems like they have extensive knowledge in other fields not related to USA books

I doubt it will happen either. My point was in context to Morinos post tho. He stated they legally had to give us our points, per the contract. Im assuming hes correct and was just pointing out if SBR wanted to make the points worthless, they could easily do so and still abide by the terms of any contract. But I dont think they would want to do that.
