    I'm anti-racist personally, but one of the reasons SBR got so big was the freedom of speech here. And not being coddled like school kids.

    I have trouble knowing where the line is myself, but I lean toward tolerating all opinions as much as possible.

    Hoping new management does not want us to go all PC.

    You 'know' me, Opti. I despise PC with a passion, and certainly love irreverent humor (that's kinda obvious). ALWAYS want a wide latitude given to freedom of speech/varying opinions. I 100% agree with the overall philosophy of SBR to allow posters to "do their thing" expression-wise, and that has been great for SBR's growth (and would really suck and hurt SBR if that philosophy was curtailed & PC'd).

    That's NOT what I'm talking about here w/Baldy; no, rather, what I'm talking about is speech that any reasonable, honest and truly objective person would conclude is clearly devoid of any insight, humor, satire or anything else other than blatant, rank RACISM ("Blacks are a horrible race and cause of all the problems and it'd be good for society if they weren't around"-- accurately paraphrasing Baldy). <---- that kinda shitt, and he's got many of them. Don't have to be a SJW or snowflake to realize that kinda BS is crossing a line, and I really don't think it's all that hard to identify from humor, satire, varying perceptions, etc... It's simply racist spewings.

    BTW, speaking of censorship, lil 2.5"er cancelled/censored me in the "Stryder is my son" thread... whining to mods/getting my posts removed from the thread simply b/c he was butthurt by my clear-as-day JOKES @ him. (I wasn't infracted, hell... I've NEVER received an infraction... they were simply irreverent jokes, ffs.)

    Bottom line: Getting rid of Baldy would be GREAT for SBR moving forward.

    Plus staff really do not know much yet, or any of the answers to questions about future plans.

    I'm guessing all contest will eventually go through DraftKings, which will end up killing any growth for this site, as well as ending any draw for people that still come here.


    Just look what they have done in the first 24 hours: odds suck, and sportsbook list sucks. This whole site was started because of the sportsbook review/list.

    A competitor site has more than 3 times the traffic of SBR. I'll let you know the secret... For the games and contests, they display everyone's picks... and they keep track of records. If people could see picks, traffic would immediately multiply. The games would need to somehow be adjusted to accommodate the changes but this is the #1 thing I would do to drive revenue.
