Sounds like he got his trade, but after this season...per ESPN.

Wouldn't be surprised if he got hurt early & just sat it out.

Packers are offering concessions and are close to an agreement that would bring Aaron Rodgers back to Green Bay for at least this season, sources tell ESPN. Deal is not done but it is close.

The new agreement, once finalized, would help set up Aaron Rodgers’ departure from Green Bay after this season, per sources.

    Screw next year

If I were Rodgers and wanted a trade I'd demand it happen this year

Why waste another year if you're in his shoes and running out of time???

Because he gets paid 30 million and look, if they start 8-2 they got a shot at a bye

If they start 4-6 or so, he'll "get hurt" and sit it out

They can play Live at that point and work a trade

GB is loaded. They actually have a young/talented defense for a change too. Rodgers needs to light that shit up! tampa will come back to Earth. Brady will get hurt. Nobody lasts forever and nobody has repeated since 2005. GB TB far ahead of everyone else in the NFC on paper imo. SF and Rams are good too.

Green Bay will regret not trading him when they could turn him into assets.

GB will be mediocre this season and then suck for a long time.

People are failing to realize that this is starting to fall right into what GreenBay has had planned all along. Maybe without the drama part but they had plans to start utilizing Jordan Love next year anyways.

Nobody nowadays moves up in the first round to draft a QB when their veteran QB is in mid-late 30s to just sit their guy for 4+ yrs anymore. Those days are over!

The only thing that threw a wrench in GB's plans were Rodgers having arguably his best year of his career (MVP)

They are a playoff team without him, Adams is the best receiver in the league, Jones is as good as any running back in the league, the defense is strong too.

Is Adams the best receiver in the league without a top end QB throwing him the ball?

GB was 9th in overall defense last year with a very young squad that should improve. Allowed 23.1 points per game. Tampa gave up 22.2 so about the same

Mediocre? How did NE dominate for so long? A big part of that was being lucky enough to be a shit division. Miami, Buffalo, and the JEts sucked for basically the entire Belechik/Brady era. The Jets had a couple of good years, but had Sanchez at QB

GB will do the same this year. 6-0 or 5-1 worse case scenario. Vikings, Bears, and Lions all suck. GB will be playing the NFC Championship at home again. Hopefully with a healthy Bakhteri or they would've won last year

Hyde also said that Rodgers’ frustrations have been bubbling up for years. When Hyde signed a five-year, $30.5 million contract with the Bills in 2017, Rodgers let him know that he was upset the Packers hadn’t kept him.
“After leaving that place, I remember him reaching out to me and letting me know how frustrated he was,” Hyde said of Rodgers. “His presser yesterday was a well thought-out conversation he had with the media. I think he was speaking a lot of facts. Hearing him say my name was a blessing. If a guy like that thinks that highly of myself, I know I’m doing something right.”

Hyde has done a lot right in his four seasons in Buffalo, and Rodgers is making no secret that he’s unhappy he isn’t doing it in Green Bay.

I've been saying it for 5 years atleast that AR had to be miserable in GB because they don't try to put anything around him? They don't want to pay anyone and they won't draft a 1st round WR for him either? Its ridiculous. They're lucky he didn't bail 5 years ago

If they would've kept Hyde they would've won the SB. Too many breakdowns on 3rd/long in that game.

There are 3 certainties: Life, Death, and Rodgers choking a NFC championship.

Dude has Adams, Jones, good OL, and at least average defense. Never heard so much crying from a player in my entire life. Brady takes pay cuts and wins rings while Rodgers hasn't even reached a SB in a decade.

Dude has a horrible relationship with his parents, coaches, and GB management.

There are at least six better RB's in the NFL than Jones.

He's a second tier good back, not elite.

Casual that thinks he knows football. You're completely ignoring atleast 10 relevant facts/stats. TB didn't draft Gronk, JPP, or Shaq Barrett. TB had Goodwin/Mike Evans. Who were Rodgers 2nd/2rd WRs? Thats what i thought.

Who threw 3 picks in the game? Hint....wasnt Rodgers. The only "pick' AR threw was an obvious Defensive hold in the middle of the field that the refs ignored.

    Rodgers vs SF?
    Rodgers vs Atlanta

Are you going to tell me GB had anywhere near the talent in those games? SF ran for almost 300 yards meanwhile Brady wins a SB by scoring 13 points. He throws for 200 yds for KC and wins by 22. If AR doesn't throw for 350 and 3 tds then GB rarely ever wins

Those are the facts. Study some football before running your mouth.

You can see the guy CLEARLY PULL HIS JERSEY at 0:26 and 0:45

GB is at home and can't even get the call??? That bs and then GB secondary falling asleep with :08 left and giving Brady a TD turned the game.

Aikman saw the shit the whole way, but these goddamn worthless zebras??

Funny how TB gets the call to run out the clock at the end
