Hollywood siezes unexplained $25k (sportsbook.com correlated parlay issue)
As I'm gathering complaints, one really sticks out.

Hollywood sends an email to the user explaining that they were taking $4100 out of his account for playing correlated parlays. $29,000 is missing from the player's account.

Hollywood ignored the player's requests for information on this.

No doubt the initial response will be that according to their rules, management reserves the right to do whatever they please. If you press them, they will likely come up with something to the effect of, "we confiscated $4100 for playing correlated plays, then we confiscated $25000, because those winnings were derived from the $4100, you made illegally."

Jazette has a real problem. They lost a bunch of players earlier because of their inability to process payouts. Now they can process payouts, but they are limited in how much they can payout daily. As a result they need to get rid of the big sharp players who have been killing them over the years. Wouldn't surprise me that once they decided to get rid of a bunch of players, they figure they may as well mug them on thier way out the door

That's bullshit. I thought Hollywood was one of the more reasonable books in the group too.

What are they going to come up with next? Ban gays and lesbians from the sports book. Then accuse the customer of being a queer?

Talk about bad business. I'd like to know what sober business man would make such terrible choices. It's like I'm hearing stories from the twilight zone.

How much longer can these places remain operational if you chop your business in half. I would have to assume bankruptcy is not too far off.

The latest fad to get bigger players on correlated parlays, which software could easily avoid?

If, as a result of last year's law, the offshore industry is far worse of than expected, then low rated books have nothing to lose by ripping off players to extend their own lease on life. In that case, this may be only the first wave.

Form a business perspective it was a great decision. The players they robbed form were players who ebat them and would continue to beat them. While they might lose some customers in protest, the cost to them will almost surely be less than the amount they stole. That's why it's so important with this group to always be sure that the amount you can ********** on your credit card is more than what you have in your account. If it happened to me, I'd just withdraw my balance and ********** as much as I could to teach them a lesson.

hollywood cleared out my acct and sent me an email stating that they're confiscating 3.8k+; how convenient that is my exact current balance on the acct at the time (to the last penny). i fully believe had i had more funds in the acct, it would've been stolen also

I normally don't advocate chargebacks, but screw jazzette right now. I deposited for some favorable MLB divisional series props and lost. These props had VERY favorable odds compared to other sites ....and now I doubt they wouldve even paid out on the lines I locked in. If they want to screw other players I will scrw them and take my money back, and I advise others who lost money with them to do this as well. Good luck getting the parlay money back guys.

Chargebacks justified for some sportsbook.com customers

1)Anyone who bet what sportsbook.com defines as a correlated parlay (over and fav; dog and under) and lost has a case to charge back the amount, since if they won there is a reasonable chance sportsbook would have cancelled this winning.

2)However, if one made other bets that sportsbook.com would have paid if you won, then it is wrong to charge back, in my opinion.

In the case of 1) I would ask the opinion of Bill or SBR before doing the ********** and make sure you have a case that sportsbook.com would have cancelled your wagers if you had won the correlated parlays.

Also, sportsbook.com may talk to other sportsbooks but I highly doubt the A and most B rated books are interested in associating with them any more.
