    If the Books had made all college lines even, what a ton of winnings for them?
    Yes, right from the get'go, all pick'em.
    They would be wallowing in a tub bath full of thousands dollar bills.

    Now, as of today, why would any favorite cover after seeing so many dogs cover?

    There is no way the books would make any money with even lines, unless the limits were like $50. It would test the morality of teams though. If everyone maxed out Gonzaga at even odds, you'd have to imagine that the bookies would do everything possible to bribe some players.
