Great seasons but no conference tourney auto-bid, which of these deserve an at large?

    Belmont
    Drake
    Toledo
    Southern Utah
    LA Tech
    UAB
Utah State (if they lose to SDSU)
    Wright State
    Georgia State
    Colorado State
    (loser of Buffalo vs. Ohio)
(loser of UCSB vs. UC Irvine)

Drake and Utah state will get in

Memphis probably a win away right now

The problem with the small conferences is that they usually don’t get any chance at big wins and their season ends with a bad loss if they don’t get an auto bid.

Colorado state is iffy, probably depends a lot on what Georgetown Oregón state and Memphis

Lunardi on ESPN has St. Louis as the last team in right now. I don’t see that. They really beat no one beside lsu, also have some bad losses.

Ole miss is interesting. They beat Tennessee and swept Missouri when they were both good but those wins have lost their luster. Probably needed a win yesterday.

Of that first list aside from Belmont and the loser of Irvine and ucsb, i doubt they even make the nit with the small field.

yeah i don't like St Louis either, there's at least 5 to 7 teams who would deserve a spot before them

I just looked now Lunardi has UCLA 3rd in the last 4 in

They beat one team who made the tournament.

Not so sure about this one either.

Dont see how he has them essentially 8 spots ahead of Ole Miss.

UCLA stinks, there's like 10 teams i'd much rather see get in than them

assuming they hold on, Georgetown getting the auto-bid will wreck some at-large hopes

I would not want to play Memphis right now....few teams in the country playing better. St.Louis and Utah St would cause problems for everyone

That was an awful turn of events for Wichita state yesterday, but you would think they still get in despite what the ESPN dickhead says. They won like the 7th best conference and have a decent road win at ole miss and split with Houston. I would definitely put them ahead of UCLA, who he still has as the last bye. Would probably put them ahead of Louisville and drake, who he has as play in teams.

    Assuming Cincinnati doesn’t win:

I would move Syracuse up to the main field, put Wichita as a play in, and take UCLA out. That’s where I would change how he has it. I do think vcu/st bonaventure loser will be in, maybe as a play in team, but both should make it.

Doesn’t matter you have to actually win games, not just be liked on the power ratings. Good chance if they won 2/3 against Louisville those teams woulda flipped

Memphis is another “duke” IMO. 2 great showings against Houston which makes them a good team to bet on, but they won’t get in either.
