I know how you feel, would be in prime position for my sole entry to win or at least get second if Oregon had managed to cover yesterday.
Fact is, having competed in this contest with two entries every year that I can remember, it's so easy to play the what if game after the fact! But no real point, you'll lose that game every time, just gotta take it as it comes, remember you don't have any control of the actual results!
As for the A&M cover, while that was definitely somewhat fortunate given the way the game mostly went, was pretty much always a one score game one way or the other, covering -6 wasn't that lucky imo. If the contest line had been what the actual line ended at, roughly -9/-10, I agree it would have been super lucky for them to cover that.
Just glad after all these years I'll finally "cash" in this contest (with my team entry). Ok, only a lock to cash if I win the final pick, but that will enable me to hedge at least to ensure I walk away with something - first time aside from a last place one year, will sure take it even if Oregon failing yesterday prevented me from being in a super strong position. Ahh well, can't win em all!
