NBA Finals Game 6 + A message to the guy who bet his 2 month rent on Miami

I've been betting on the NBA for years and I've seen this script repeating itself so many times.

Those who were so sure the Lakers will grab the championship in Game 5 are now turning into those who bet on Miami. Seems like it's easy to twist people's minds so easily.

Miami in Game 5 had a spread of +7 points, now it's +5 points and the psychology works great.

Here is what I think about Game 6 and about the NBA in general:

I expect the Lakers to win Game 6.
The "chance" to bet on the Lakers to win with the spread or with Money line is now, not in game 7 because there won't be any game 7.

The guy who bet his rent money on Miami - I loved that GIF someone posted to you seeing Danny DeVito saying "Ha" burning money

    https://tenor.com/be6IF.gif
My suggestion to you is to "hedge" your bet and bet on the Lakers winning Game 6 (not the series as the odds are better) and thank me later.

    Okay then,

Now I want to relate to the 'why' question.

Jimmy Butler is a great player but I can't see him repeating the same thing he had in Game 5.... in Game 4 he played almost the whole 48 minutes and scored only 22 points (the entire game was quite low, going almost 20 pts under the original line).

I would assume he would go as high as 20-25 pts, I'm expecting more from the Lakers squad, this time Danny Green should be sharper, and beware of the Kuzma ... JR Smith should drop a few three pointers and overall the Lakers should win it this time.

The only statistic I don't "like" is that the Lakers never lost 2 consecutive playoff games in a row - the NBA is all about breaking statistics time after time so I would have preferred this not to be a factor but I'd say I could live with it if that's the only statistic going "against" the Lakers in game 6.

arie I out rank you! Old man here with front row seats behind bench. I bet Miami first half last game and believe the same for this game. Last game I bet LA to win, this game I'm taking Miami. Lakers are to implode.

    It's not rocket science.
Go to Games 1 and 2 and look at the stats:

    Game 1
    David 34
    James 25
    Caldwell Pope 13
    Green 11
    Caruso 10

    Game 2
    Davis 32
    James 33
    Rondo 16
    Kuzma 11

I think Kuzma would be the key player tonight, Kyle Kuzma can be a beast and much better than Tyler Herro if he plays his best.

His props bet is o/u 9.5
Davis is 26.5 just like Butler (!!)
Herro is 16.5 and I think he is overrated with this figure.

Nice bro. That wasn't possible since you own your property. Living on rent is a problem to begin with and you should not be gambling if you rent.

Just brutal Manny. Between PA & NJ we are paying over 9k a year in property taxes No kids so don’t care about school districts, trash pick up, etc. Moving to FLA where my taxes will be less than 2k a year. Cannot wait

Imagine if Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo both got hurt in game one like Bam Adebayo & Dragic did. How do you think this series would’ve went ? I feel like that’s the equivalent of what the heat was missing in portions of that series. So yes after game one I was done with this bet, conceded no coming back from losing those players.

James was too much but Heat were still competitive

No idea how anyone in the East can beat Heat next year

james wills his team to win. butler looked tired last night (because of all of his effort in the bubble, not making fun of him). if miami adds a 2nd superstar they could be one of the top 4 teams next year easily.
