Major League Baseball postponed Thursday’s Cubs-Marlins playoff game because of impending rain.

I wouldn't be surprised if MLB did it because there were already four other games scheduled for today but there was a possibility of no games tomorrow if everyone completed their sweep so they made sure there would be at least one game on Saturday.
