I've been betting football for decades and enjoy reading a good newsletter.
Very rarely will I play their recommended picks, but I do sometimes find it useful if they provide some info I was unaware of beforehand.
The ones I typically read are......
THE GOLD SHEET -- Bruce Marshall knows his stuff
POWER PLAYS -- I prefer this to Power Sweep because of the statistical projections.
SPORTS REPORTER -- If only Bobby Smith were as good a handicapper as he thinks he is.
NELLY'S SPORTSLINE -- The green sheet can be very insightful. Nelly is a pro.
Mark Lawrence's sheets are always about trends--not a fan of this style of handicapping.
Are there any other good legit tip sheets out there that anyone recommends?
the gold sheet is so bad, it not worth the paper it printed on.the only thing the gold sheet paper is worth, when you run out of the bathroom rolls.phil steele is the 2nd worst guy, this guy is just so bad.............
i remember going to the newsstands each week with my buddies in the 80's to read the gold sheet. you had to kinda stick it inside a big magazine if you wanted to read it for free because they wanted you to pay for it first..
if i remember correctly there was another publication printed on green paper
