What more information do you need to know about the Dodgers besides there stacked and going against Cueto off Tommy John.. just 🔨 it and make some cash as Covid may cancel season before two weeks is up

This year I don’t blame you but most normal seasons I disagree with that strategy. For most players we already have years of data and examples of how they perform at any given point in a season including the 1st weeks. That said didn’t get to see/have a typical spring training and this obviously a different circumstance than normal. Most years I think the best time to bet mlb Is from opening day until the all star break so I come firing right out the gates!!

Lol. Oh man I can see we have vastly different approaches to mlb! Not that there anything wrong with that, I actually think this approach could very well pay off this season more so than typical years!

If you like the Yankees at -131 you may want to consider them at +130 on the run line.

I will only play a run line if
    a) The favorite is on the road (because the road team is always guaranteed a ninth inning at bat.
    b) The favorite is starting an elite pitcher.

    Both criteria are met here.

The benefit here is if NYY loses you are out -100 not -131
The thing is you must win by two runs plus.

Reduced Baseball Run Line Total Runs
    Reduced Juice - Internet Only
    Thu 7/23 901 New York Yankees G Cole - R -1½ +130 o7½ -107
    7:08PM 902 Washington Nationals M Scherzer - R +1½ -140 u7½ -103

I'm looking at Dodger TT over 2.5 runs FF

Not exactly what I meant, just the approach of betting such big favs. I don’t play many favs in general and never really lay more than -140ish, I might from time to time do 2 team parlay with bigger favs but not real often.

For most part I play dogs and totals, I’ve never been able to hit favs at a high enough clip to be worth it. For example what doyers like freaking -300ish tonight? That’s god damn 75% to break even! I can’t hit -180 favs at the 65ish% it take to break even! The best teams almost never win 65% of their games over a full season! This year we could see a few teams finish with a win percentage over that in a 60 game season which why I said this approach might have far more merit than most years.

Certainly not trying to argue how talented the doyers are, just that baseball a funny game, like I said above the most talented teams almost never win 65% their games! While the worst teams still manage to win 37-40% of their games! It’s not like football where the best teams do win 75+% their games and the worst teams often don’t win 30%!! This what I love about betting bases, I feel like I can get plus money on lot of games that are much closer to 50-50 then odds suggest! There lot of different approaches to this thing and certainly not saying mine any better or worse just what works for me.

While I do normally think venturing into betting favs -200 or more a bad idea in baseball I also recognize this season could very well be a outlier where someone could have success doing it. (Although id still be hesitant but that over a decade of experience to the contrary talking, lol).

Far as being a fan sure I rep my city but when it comes to betting the games you will find I have no problem fading my cardinals! Especially in the regular season cause I understand even when they good they gonna lose upwards of 70 games! I try to be incredibly honest with ppl about my team as I think we have a responsibility as fans who know our team better than most to take advantage of that by making money even off their misfortune! After all end of the day I’m a fan of ME way more than of a team!!

Fans who don’t bet against their teams are no good to us gamblers! That a shame cause fans typically can offer good local incite the rest of us don’t have if capable of being impartial! Gotta watch out for the pessimistic fans also, they tend to never see when their team is a good bet cause they emotionally invested in the losing! The key is not to be too invested in anything other than the truth! Being honest about our team does not make us any less a fan (betting against them might but fukk’em! lol).

Damn that got long, lol. as you can see I love talking bases and about betting on bases!

You can’t get 1st 5s? Man that a huge part of betting bases for me. I’ve taken to most my unders being 1st 5, and when I do like favs I often play the FF -.5 line to squash the juice and eliminate pens. You gotta get another out bud!!

Juan Soto has a .403 OBP in his young career, 4th-highest by any player through their age-20 season in the Modern Era (Since 1900)

Only 3 other players have a higher OBP than Soto through their age-20 season and they are all Hall of Famers: Ted Williams, Mel Ott & Jimmie Foxx

I don’t play a lot of team totals but doyers over 5 would be only way id play it. No chance I’d ever lay -300 on a baseball game. Gotta figure if someone willing to lay that they expect cueto to get smacked around by those lefties which could absolutely happen. Why pay all that juice?
