Wow it looks like they're beating golf to be the first to resume.

Didn't think anyone would resume before golf, I wasn't thinking about racing though.

Libs are gonna be pissed about this.

Probably dismiss this as racist, irresponsible and not a real sport.

    Lol so true.

It's about time we get some good news coming out of the sports world though, because the outlook moving in to next fall just seems so negative.

Nothing but a bad stream of news for all of us whose work involves sports, it seems.

Don’t need fans in stand. Irrelevant. Drivers don’t even know if they are there nor not.

Same with tennis and golf....everyone has to be quiet at all times....should always play without fans now

I’d actually watch a NASCAR race right now.

Smart move on their part to beat everyone to the punch. Might attract new fans.

I don’t think NASCAR needs fans in the stands to still generate the same amount of TV interest anyway. It’s not like the NFL, or NBA where crows noise is part of the game and resonates on TV.

Look at all the Indy Grand Prix races, nobody is focusing on the fans tor those. So I think this will be good for NASCAR and will probably draw huge TV ratings.

Football and basketball need fans those. Baseball probably too. The atmosphere watching a Marlins game is dull.

Problem is most people do not watch it

It is not a mainstream sport so ratings will not go up much
