    First things first. Who’s the coach?? They fired Atkinson right before the league suspension. Secondly, neither player is worth the risk of coming back just for the playoffs. We are talking about injured & injury prone brothers here. No value in them for the playoffs next year either. This is a bad mix of players and coaches

    The Nets have had internal discussions about potential ways they could acquire Beal, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports. While the Washington Wizards have not yet indicated whether or not they will entertain trade offers for Beal, the star guard is set to make $29 million next season on a team that is just 24-40 this year.

    The Nets will have to match salaries for any trade, with Beal earning roughly $29 million next season. Assuming Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are off limits, the Nets’ best assets are Spencer Dinwiddie ($11.5 million), Caris LeVert ($16.2 million) and Jarrett Allen ($3.9 million).

    The Nets could make some significant moves this offseason, as they are searching for a new head coach and Kyrie Irving has already hinted that he is unhappy with the team’s roster.

    Thought Durant was done. Either way I don't ever see Kyrie and Durant making a finals appearance. 2 of the weaker mentally players in the game who needed to team up with the best in the game to win.

    Even the pro athletes getting paid will feel the financial pressures in time when those HUGE NBA paychecks aren't coming in anymore.. They got bills to pay, mortgages, mansions, ho's, child support, alimony, etc.. Won't even mention the fancy exotic cars and solid bling bling gold and diamond jewelry that they spend millions on..

    When the money just keeps going out and not coming in it's only a matter of time before even the well off need to get back to work..

    Durant still has several good years left as a top 3 player. Would be surprised if he didn't make another run at a title. Irving hasn't even hit his prime.

    Levert is healthy, Joe Harris is a great sharp shooter.

    Besides Irving I also like the other guards Dinwiddie.

    If the big ticket free agents stay healthy in 2021 the Nets can win a few Eastern Conference playoff series.

    Confirming a Friday report, star forward Kevin Durant told Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated in a wide-ranging interview that he won’t play for the Nets when the 2019/20 season resumes this summer.

    “My season is over. I don’t plan on playing at all,” Durant said. “We decided last summer when it first happened that I was just going to wait until the following season. I had no plans of playing at all this season.”

    “It’s just best for me to wait,” Durant said. “I don’t think I’m ready to play that type of intensity right now in the next month. It gives me more time to get ready for next season and the rest of my career.”

    As for teammate Kyrie Irving, the expectation for now is that he also won’t be healthy enough to return for the Nets this summer in Orlando. Irving is recovering from undergoing shoulder surgery earlier this year.

    According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski (via Twitter), Irving suggested on Friday’s NBPA conference call that he may end up joining the Nets this summer as an inactive player supporting his teammates.

    I don't really like this team. LeVert is healthy but can never stay healthy. Jordan is washed up and Allen a bit soft

    Harris is good but doesn't seem like he's in with the group that got coach fired. Irving still a selfish player

    Durant is too concerned about his image, he won't return if Kyrie isn't returning, the team would get destroyed.
