    AL Pennant?
    Bit of a reach.

Maybe 50 percent chance of making the playoffs.

ZIPS gives them a 48 percent chance to make the playoffs.
    That's about right.

I do think they could catch Houston, and win that division. That’s as far as my money would go on them.

It's possible. Too many chokes in the playoffs every year. They are officially my favorite baseball team since a kid. All Oakland teams. If they keep throwing Kris Davis out there then you can forget it. They played him last year and kept him in in games where he had no chance against said pitcher. They didn't bother to pinch hit for him. I've had enough of that player.

Lots of young talent. The bullpen might be worse if Lazardo and Puk are starters. Watch Lazardo. I haven't played fantasy in years for baseball, but that guy is a future ace no doubt barring injury. Puk I'm not convinced yet for starting but he could be a dominate closer IMO.

Murphy really promising catcher. Good ball player.

I just don't see any adds in the offseason that tells me pennant. Good at the corners and at catcher. Lazardo/Puk could help with division. I don't know if they have more young talent like Chapman, Olson, Murphy, Lazardo, Puk on the way this year? I like Laureano too. Sorry. Might win division. Then choke in playoffs.

Definitely in the running though weeders. If they add someone better than Homer Bailey, Roark, etc at the deadline and trade Kris Davis (not much better than the one on Baltimore; sorry O's fans I know you don't want that name mentioned) for a bag of balls then I might think pennant.
