Was at game last night. Saw plenty of jerkoff trotter and Vick jerseys out there. Embarrassing

personally once you hit 30 no more jerseys.

lots of factors in play with hats. Male pattern baldness comes to mind. Was asked to leave Vic and Anthony’s at last bash as I had hat on. Politely removed it

I think it always kosher to wear them to a game no matter age. After 30 pretty redic to wear any other time imo.

When I got out the joint I distinctly remember the moment where I look in my closet and think “god damn I can’t be dressing like this anymore! Wtf was wrong w me!” Lol. I had section of more normal type grown folks clothes but I called those my “airplane clothes” or “driving dirty wardrobe”, you know the shit I wore to blend in and try not screaming “search me”, lol.

I thought I was alone in thinking this. I don't really give a shit what other people wear, but I couldn't as a grown man wear a dude's jersey who is younger than me. So maybe a jersey of your youth idol...even then I don't think I could. So I would say HS/College.

Shit my kids HS football team sold replica jerseys with our boys name and number for a fundraiser. We bought one for the wife, son asked me why I didn't get one. "Because I had that name first and I didn't go to this HS", "I love and support you, but I am not idolizing you"

Hats? I am guilty as hell as wearing one almost all the time outside of being at a client's location...

going to game only time I wear anymore, on football day going to bar it ok to break out one for whatever team you bet on I think but even that iffy.

I couldn’t imagine going to cardinal game and not wearing one, my favorite are my powder blue Ozzie Smith and Vince Coleman pullovers but you can’t really wear those when cubs in town cause despite being a much different color blue you don’t want blue on when scrubbies in town or when ya go to chi town, gotta rep the cardinals red nation!!! All my jerseys are guys who no longer play or not on team, no chance I’d buy another one. Don’t mind rocking the legends like the Ozzie or Coleman tho, I’ll wear pujols or Edmonds still or just a cardinals shirt, when it hot as balls those end up coming off and I’m just wearing a beater anyways, gotta show off the muscles!! Lol.

Was kinda a bummer when I realized I had no interest wearing anymore. I paid a small fortune for all the freaking jerseys I have and matching hats and other accessories, lol. Think I have one for every nfl team, or I used to anyways. I always went with big time HOF type players so they had staying power and honestly thought they would maintain value but after I got out I wanted to sell them but turns out they not worth mfin shit so I have a closet full of these things in plastic hanging up!

Got variety of nba too, the game jerseys and also like warmup stuff and different things. Some Kobe/lakers, Jordan, Hakeem the dream, Barkley, early bron was right at end of when i bought any this shit. Again all wrapped up and hanging in big closet dedicated to shit I don’t wear anymore! Moral of story?! Anyone wanna buy bunch of jerseys and stuff??? Lol

When I was young and into them it certainly had nothin to do with idolizing any players, I couldn’t give any less a fukk bout any players or even teams really, I like when stl teams do well cause the city is way more hopping when those teams are in playoff runs but end of day I don’t care all that much bout anything I don’t bet and I’m quick to bet against “my” teams, lol.

I just liked the way they looked back then. I always went with colors I liked and ones I thought looked the coolest much more so than any particular player or teams outside Stl. I probably have 200 hats but I almost never wear those anymore either... Just grew out of that look i guess. Lol.,
