I was definitely the opposite. We were to dirt poor for my parents to buy me a jersey. But I did buy them for my kids and nephews. With that said, I couldn't bring my self to wear any jersey of a player outside of a Boston team, with one exception, Bo Jackson that dude was god to me as a kid.

I think Sam Odom has it right. Wear jersey's until your out of college then stop unless you're going to a sporting event or watching "your" team with a bunch of pals at a bar or party.

i say 18, maybe early 20s if still in college, but even then i wouldn't wear a jersey with a certain players name or number, i think just wearing the team jersey with no name is preferable.
But definitely by mid-20s. By then most should have switched to tshirts or polo shirts.

No limit for age on sports Jerseys
But there is a 150 lb limit for chicks that have a statement on the ass of their sweatpants. A very generous limit.
Now you have to be 50 to wear socks of any type with the flip flops.

Important thing to remember before donning a jersey.

Your belly should not distort the ability to recognize the numbers on the jersey. A good litmus test is if how often you rest your cell phone on the plateau of your stomach.

personally once you hit 30 no more jerseys.

lots of factors in play with hats. Male pattern baldness comes to mind. Was asked to leave Vic and Anthony’s at last bash as I had hat on. Politely removed it
How about the guys who put their own name on the back of the jersey?

lol. Not gonna lie, I’m down with black socks in nice flip flops. What can I say I like that look, plus I like wearing flip flops for long as possible into fall/winter! Lol. Obviously I don’t do it in summer. They do gotta be good looking flip flops tho!!
