    Numbers say raiders but I'm having a hard time picking them. Chargers seem like they are going in the right direction which is usually the kiss off death for them. Maybe raiders in a teaser. Idk

    Chargers a road favorite by 1 to 2 depending on the book.

    Chargers have a lot of players back and are coming off a beat down of the Packers.

    In prime time games that usually spells disaster.

    But... Sometimes the books give you a freebie going into the weekend.

    The Chargers don't suck.
    They're not the 1986 Bears but they don't suck.
    That three game losing streak is long gone (where all three losses were by seven points or less)
    Now they're on a two game win streak the last game they embarrassed Rodgers and the Pack.

    The coaches have figured out to use RB's Ekeler and Gordon now.
    Ekeler is strong as an ox and a fantastic pass catcher out of the backfield.
    Rivers is who he is, a future HoF QB who now has three reliable receivers to go to plus a quality TE.

    Oh, this short week angle really doesn't apply tonight that LA to Oakland travel isn't actually torture you know.
    Right now LA is what their record says they are a .500 (4-5) team that's trending upward not regressing.
    Chargers are getting their shit together and progressing like I said, they don't suck.

    Chargers -1 is what I'm taking. Bosa and Ingram are killing it right now, and Oakland is dealing with two injuries on the OL, including their starting RT Trent Brown. Raiders are also missing Arden Key and Josh Mauro, so they'll be thin at DE. I think it comes down to who can pressure the QB more, and it's looking like the Chargers are in a better position to do that.

    Trent Brown is listed as questionable and looks like he's playing

    Chargers are dealing with injuries too. Denzel Perryman, Sam Tevi and Brandon Mebane are all listed as questionable

    Perryman's one of their top defensive players and didn't practice all week. Neither did Tevi their starting right tackle.

    Gotta go with Rivers at this point.. I do like Carr this year though..

    Poor guy had his leg snapped and foot pointing the other way and it took all this time to try to come back to form.. Still not as good as he was before that catastrophic leg break years ago IMO..

    I like Carr thought he's good guy just had a bad break literally. Weighs on ones mind for a time... Always looking over your shoulder now with a mad rush.. Confidence is broken.. I get it.
