Week 3 high low contest odds

    https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...22nd-25th.html

First, I love the contests Drew, a lot of fun

This contest made me laugh though lol

Could someone good with probability calculate the odds of winning this?

I estimate it at somewhere between 1 in 2000 to 1 in 3000

You have to guess the one out of 32 teams that has the highest score, the one out of 32 teams that has the lowest score, AND they have to be the only teams with those scores, there can't be ties for high score or low score.

Less likely to be a tie tho compared to baseball, especially for the high.

I'd say more like 100-1 which is still dam near impossible.

Gonna regret flip flopping. I initially had Philly for the low but changed it to cardinals last minute. Fukk.

Well assuming there is no tie for highest or lowest score and that all teams are equally likely to score the highest as they are the lowest, the probability of picking the correct two would be about 1 in 900.

But obviously the probability of there being a tie for either highest or lowest score significantly diminishes that number - very hard to say by how much though, I would venture though the odds of either the high and/or low tieing to occur to be about 50% which would diminish the 1 in 900 chance to 1 in 1800 about.

On the other hand, obviously not all teams are equally likely to have the high score or the low score, surely by picking the teams favored to win/score higher as well as teams favored to lose/score lower, you would generally increase the 1 in 1800 chance. By how much? Very hard to say again.

I would estimate the probability of winning though to be 1 in a 1000 at best.

Contest should be void anyways with gb and oak playing on 80 yard field and gb sitting all their starters
