So is Bryce gna end up being a total bust or not? .. Or Is he gna end up out performing that monster contract?

I vote Bust. Unless you consider a 275 average for 400 million no bust.

IMO, from a betting perspective, I would say bust. His going to the Phillies probably added .20cents to each Philly line. Negative value I would say. The Phillies could get hot, and change that. Think they've won 2 straight at this time.

Bust. Some players make their teammates much better with their presence. Ortiz with Boston, Jordan with the Bulls, Clemens and Jeter with NYY. Tom Brady with NE, Favre with Green Bay. Harper "could be" that player but has shown he is not.

QB have much more impact on a game, then a position baseball player, the best baseball hitter can always just get intentional walk

    Exactly.

.859 OPS this year. Still just 26 years old.

    Not a bust.

Is he worth his contract? No. Is he performing like his insane 2015 season? No.

But bust is the wrong word.

He needs to get his red contacts back.

    Mussina did.
Signed in late 2000, pitched for the Yankees from 2001 to 2008
All eight seasons won double digits games. Won 15 or more games five time, twenty games once.
The consummate innings eater, had one bad season at 11-10, bounced back from that and one twenty in his swan song, leading the majors in games started (34) that year too.
Considering he pitched in the big stick division solid ERA's and WH/IP's
Except for that Angel debacle in 2002 and the Twins series pitched well in the playoffs, and he helped NYY reach the postseason every season except his final year 2008 when he won 20, Yanks did not make it that year.
    Moose earned every dollar paid.

That was a VIOLENT grand slam. They just said on MLB that since Statcast started, no ball had ever been hit so hard and so high.
