When withdrawing from a book what are you doing?

The old way was get the bitcoin from 5dimes move it to blockchain then move it to coinbase then move it to a bank account.

    1) that extra step of going to blockchain first was always totally unnecessary, total waste of time and effort, no idea why so many seemingly intelligent people thought it was useful in any way
    2) coinbase fees are silly, just use their sister site (pro), gemini, or kraken

Coinbase was closing accounts of users who skipped that step. They never closed my account because I used blockchain

This sounds like fake news to me. My racing buddy just said pretty much the same thing, but I've had probably 100 combined transactions direct from/to gemini and 5d with no issue.

5dimes has changed their process I think though.. Now they are masking addresses better than say 2016 or 2017

people had way more than that to/from coinbase(gdax) with no issues... and so what if coinbase closes the account, just move to gemini/kraken
