    No one realizes tonight is the first MLB regular season game

    Seattle vs Oakland in Tokyo at 5:30am EST tomorrow.

    SBR season win total contest closes March 28
    Futures close March 28
    Everything closes March 28, even on Oakland and Seattle team win totals (nitrogen)

    It is kind of funny seeing this. I just realized it myself last night.

    They are traveling for a 2 game series in Japan. Then coming back and every team is playing on March 28. The only two official MLB games before March 28 are these games in Japan. Spring training will still continue.

    They are likely doing it well in advance to prevent any jet lag causing negative effects on performance on March 28.
