Believe it when I see it, can't just keep throwing money at free agents. The Knicks have done that far too many times and its blown up in their face.

Does it matter? They suck with the guys they traded -

Lmao im from NY. Im not debating that they wouldn't be king....im stating the players dont care enough about that to join the Knicks. Something about being part of a winning culture. Everybody wants to be a Laker, but nobody ever talks about being a Knick.

Those 90s Knicks lucked out in a way. Since the franchise has been such a dumpster fire since, the Knicks fan look back with rose tinted glasses now. Like people say they loved Ewing, but I don't think they really appreciated him until after he was gone.
PS. I swear a tear comes to my dads eye every time somebody brings up the 94 finals.

True, Ewing was famously under-appreciated during his career. Always the scape goat. Like a great artist revered after his exit.

He likes Euros. He used to like white Americans, but then Raef Lafrenze happened, and then Chandler Parsons. In this light drafting Doncic was probably a fluke.

Draft lottery position will play a huge role in NY future. The potential value of Zion to a franchise hasn’t been seen since Lebron entered league.

Durant and Kyrie are both hoop junkies. They want to play ball and let the score speak for them. Both have said they are best friends off court and would like to play on same team at some point.

If say Durant’s agent, Kleiman, became the president or gm of Knicks prior to next season, they would get KD. As others have already said, Dolan is a huge negative to players.

I'm sick and tired of this philosophy of signing "young talent." Fukk young talent. Young talent never wins. Rarely pans out. Who's the last young guy to carry a franchise on his own and win a championship at 22, 23, 24 years old? Last one I can recall is Wade, around 24, 25. The problem with getting all these young guys is you wait and wait for them to develop, and when they finally do just a bit, they all want like 150 million dollars. And they're not worth that money at all.

The way to win in the NBA is through free agency, not the draft. Veteran players win rings, not young talented guys.
