    The legend grows

    Seriously.
    3rd and 9
    3rd and 10
    3rd and 10

After the last "pick play" TD for KC, I was slightly worried. Silly me.

    On to Atlanta.

Patriots: Hey Rams! It’s great to run into you here at the SB again. Not much different here... just Brady and Belichick. What’s new with u?

    Rams: well...
    we changed QB’s... 15x
    we changed head coaches 7x.
    We changed uniforms 3x
    We changed cities 1x

    Patriots: oh...

KC had the worse defense in the NFL. Any above average QB would have did the same thing to this defense. Bob Sutton made Tom Brady look legendary.

Funny. its always something. Anybody could do what he does. Its all the system. Anyone with a clue understands the dude is Herman Munster as an athlete. But it is also an undeniable fact he is cool under pressure and a legendary leader who inspires his teammates.

So if he wins a 6th ring, I can`t wait for all the Brady haters to come up with some more malarkey.

You can only play in the era you play in man.

Same thing with the new NBA rules.

I do believe greatness transcends all eras.

honestly, you could never touch brady or manning once they achieved their status. the refs protected them like you were hitting a brand new car.

BUT LB. He did make it again, right? That is a fact.
Unlike NBA, NFL is the ultimate team sport. 53 guys, all who have to contribute.
O,D, ST. Complexities of coaching and adjustments.

I guess it is very hard to understand if you haven`t lived it as a fan throughout the run.

Not true.. NFL didn't change those rules until very recently. Brady spent most of his career in regular rules.
Just like Favre and Manning. It is these new QB's that get the benefit of soft play.
If you're thinking of the old tuck rule, sure.. the AFC Championship in 2001 MIGHT not have been theirs without it.
That game was TIED until the tuck call gave them a FG. And it WAS the right call.
    1999-2013 TUCK RULE:
NFL Rule 3, Section 22, Article 2, Note 2. When [an offensive] player is holding the ball to pass it forward, any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body. Also, if the player has tucked the ball into his body and then loses possession, it is a fumble.[5]

Because they bet heavy on KC. Bought into the KC home Field, and Mahomes, etc. So they trash Brady, Beli, etc.

Makes them feel better about their huge loss yesterday. Some of them are right here in this thread!

If you divide Tom Brady's career into two careers, pre-2008 knee injury and post-knee injury, both careers are Hall of Fame-worthy.
Pre: 4 Super Bowls, 3 rings, 2 SB MVPs, 1 regular season MVP.
Post: 5 Super Bowls, 2 or 3 rings, 2 or 3 SB MVPs, 2 regular season MVPs.

Montana played in an era of

    1. No throwaways.

    2. You could destory the QB

    3. There was almost no pass interference, you could maul the WR/TE/RB

    Additionally

    1. If the Hawks run the ball on the one.

    2. If ATL runs the ball down to 5 seconds every play up 28-3

    3. If there is no tuck Rule

    4. If Dee Ford doesn't jump off sides.

That's 4 penetrating less superbowls for the "GOAT" . He sits back, can't be touched, gets pass interference when someone barely swipes his Jersey.

If anyone actually went back and watched Montana tape you'd see hands down he's the GOAT. As Cowherd says, big men are irrelevant in the NBA now. Guys like Brady and Brees couldn't thrive without the new rules in the NFL. You think a 41 year old brady could be playing against the Steelers or Purple People Eaters in the 70's? He'd be shitting Avocado Ice Cream in the ICU.

Put Montana in this pussy ass AFL type league and he'd be walking away a champ almost every year.
