Its not their job to determine whether to end the season on a flag, just make the right calls. Had they thrown the flag as they should have, Saints won. It may have been the most obvious PI of the year. Rams cant feel that great knowing they’re going to the SB because the refs helped em out.

The TRUTH of the matter is that the Saints still had every opportunity to win the game. They won the toss in OT, but Brees was intercepted and the Rams have a great kicker. Sucks for Saints fans but if you look at the entirety of the game, the Saints lost. Fact.

Wvery call should be reviewed, that was obvious and had huge implications. Usually, one call doesn’t decide a game, today it did and it cost the Saints a trip to the Super Bowl. Refs have proven they will miss calls and make the wrong calls regularly, time to review every call in the booth and get it right

What they should do is allow challenges on anything (penalties, no calls, etc etc). That would add alot of strategy to the game, because honestly you could probably call holding or PI on every single play. It'd almost be like having a free 1st down in your pocket when you are on offense (or on defense, if you give up a big play - you could always throw challenge that the o line was holding). I think that make the game more fair, there'd be less controversy.

That isn't roughing at all, and the refs missed a Facemask penalty against the Saints that would have given the Rams 1st & goal.
