    Chiefs (-3) — Andy’s time has arrived

    Andy Reid has had to wait a long time. His coaching tree is substantial and he had to sit back and watch as his former team and one of his protégés Doug Pederson won it all last year. This year, it’s Andy’s turn to knock off Belichick and the Pats en route to his first Super Bowl victory.

    Even with the loss of Kareem Hunt, this Kansas City offense is still the best in the league. Mahomes is an incredible talent and they just have so much speed. The defense isn’t great but they have a good pass rush and I expect the front 4 to get to Brady just enough on Sunday.

    No one has been more critical of Reid than I have. I’ve watched this guy make the same mistakes year after year. He’s not the best in-game coach but he is terrific at putting together a game plan and his teams are usually well prepared. Another thing - the players love him and have always played for him. This year has all the makings of it finally being Andy’s time to win it all. First thing’s first: beat the Patriots on Sunday. I’m on Chiefs -3 +100. May add some more on Chiefs moneyline before gametime.

    I agree, one thing you can't dispute is Reid wins games, but so did Chuck Knox and Marty Schottenheimer.

    I think this could be Reid's year, same way it was for Cowher when he finally won a title (with a little help from the refs against Seattle).

    I think mahomes is the most talented quarterback in the league. That being said I just can’t lay points against the patriots in AFC championship game I just can’t. Fuk good luck

    Yes and I only look at what happened in the last 4 or so games and not the whole season; who cares what happened for the whole season as the team isn't the same throughout and what they are now and how they are playing now is what matters.

    The Pats always play poorly against Miami in Miami for whatever the reason, so forget that game. Then the only game that matters is the Pittsburgh games and the Steelers scored only 17 points.

    I don't like to use the transitive logic when betting football games, but the KC lost SU against the Chargers at home and the Pats didn't. I'm not saying that translates to the Pats winning in KC, but it does translate that the Pats are better than the Chiefs. Are they better enough to beat the Chiefs in KC? Who the hell knows, but all I know is no matter who Andy has as a QB, Andy was always a choker while he was a head coach in Philadelphia and he will choke again.

    For Pete's sake, he was like 1-4 in Conference Championships while he was with the Eagles and he lost against NE in the Super Bowl when he won the Conference Championship.

    The way I see, a head coach either has it or doesn't have it.

    Andy does NOT have it even with Patrick Mahomes II as his QB and please do not forget that Patrick is still a rookie no matter how good he may be.

    You have to remember that the Pats lost 2 away Conference Championship games in Brady's career and they were both against Denver and Denver had exceptional defense on both of their games. KC not so much.

    Lastly, I don't know how accurate the opening line is with SBR on this game, but it's showing KC -2.5.

    If the oddmakers don't think KC is good enough to win by at least a field goal, then that's all I need to know.
