    Video Poker

Any of you mess with this ?

Read this and thought it was interesting:

Another Player Got My Royal Flush!
False. If you have ever walked away from a video poker machine after a long session of play only to see another player sit down and hit a royal flush in only a few hands you may have thought that if you had just played a bit longer you would have won. This is not the case as the cards are being shuffled on a continuous basis and you would have had to press deal and draw at EXACTLY the same millisecond as the other player whish is unlikely.

I'd be pretty confident that guy is wrong about cards being shuffled on a continuous basis. Especially between the deal and re-draw parts of the game as he states.

They might use a time seed as part of the randomization, so the basic premise of the article could be correct. But without knowing proprietary info about each companies software I don't think it's possible to say that.

Plus, add in the requirement for these machines to have adjustable return rates and it gets a lot more complex.

    I play

I have hit about 6-7 Royal Flushes on the video poker machine and though labor intensive boys, it's not rigged !

Here is why ... You will make a RF about once every 40k or a bit more. If you play about 300 or so hands an hour and play 3 hours a night, you will hit that RF about once every 40 days. You may hit it 3 times in 40 days or could go longer than a year ( as standard deviation is different w/ RF's ) It's always a huge treat when the Mother F'r hits and the only made hand worthy of a cash out , etc.

So, online casino's are fine. Most tweak the numbers just slightly ( like one I have been playing on pays the 4 of a kind ( 100 credits ) and the straight flush ( 200 ) ... where it should be 125 and 250 ( which is a full pay machine with payback of like 99.45% I think instead of the 98.5% one I am being slack bagged on ...lol )

Here is a full pay site right here that also has a progressive jackpot on the simple Draw Poker machine AKA Jacks or Better. w/ the progressive it pays back like 99.75% I think.

    https://bitcoinvideocasino.com/videopoker

Also, the casino here on SBR here is a full pay video poker minus the progressive jackpot so get to playing on this site and hit that Royal Flush boys!

I've heard that too, there can be a skill edge to it

Most people not perfect players though and will lose over time

It is doable though and I respect it

at JJ and Stevek - I just hit the Royal ! Hand on the bible guys. Playing it for weeks and about 15 mins after making this post I hit in.

I emailed my self the screen shot and even though was playing the lowest stakes it still paid 0.08 bitcoins. $3,822.25 Real Time now.

3822/1 bitcoin = X/0.08 X = $305.76 was my payout. How about those apples guys ? Swear to God ...right after making the post literally. Some of ya know me at least by my posting and I would by no way or reason lie about this. Anyways, I'm just a bit delerious and excited.

@stevek I had been playing the poker machine around the clock and prob for about 2 weeks from like midnight to 7-8 am. You know how we

can be when we get obsessed w/ something. They are def bad too because the instant gratification is to the max. Constant stimulation.

... everytime I hit the Royal you just never see it coming of course or can believe it. Your grinding for hours upon hours and in my case here I was holding 3 to the Royal and discarded and BAM ! Also, I hear a lot of people dog bitcoin and some like it a lot. Many state that they just use it to load there sportsbooks accounts but these days the SB's just want to do their payouts via bitcoin anyyea so it's going to continue to grow more and more. People that never used to know wtf bitcoin was are now asking questions , etc and more and more companies are taking it. I couldn't give a &&& about bitcoin not trying to promote it but being world wide it's going no where. Some say it
is empty investment but they are kind of looking at it wrong. Investing or buying bitcoin , people are investing in security or the illusion of it one. It was born out of fear or Wall Street and all that and being that no bank or government can control it people are opting into it a little bit more and more ( like I said the ones who never knew what is now are inquiring ) Finally, being able to move your bitcoin ( your money ) on and off of sites and/or sending p2p is lighting fast and I love it. If you were to wager 100 dollars worth on some crazy parlay and made 100k you could turn into usd or fiat currencies so fast ( of course you would have to pay taxes ) and if playing small ball then your good with just the hopes of slow growing your bitcoin roll ( bitcoin being able to be turned into any other currency overnight ) imo everyone who wagers sports should have some.

How did I get to rambling like this? This is what a Royal Flush win and lots of night time coffee does to ya lol.

In NEVADA, true...……...all games are regulated by the Nevada Gaming Board.
The RNG shuffles the cards(Random number Generator)

it was video poker in a casino... usually when people refer to "live poker" they mean texas hold em at a table, so i'm a bit confused, i assume you are asking if it is online or in actual casino

when a machine deals a royal flush, it automatically holds the cards, it was in a flash but still hold/hold/hold/hold/hold

and speaking of rigged... i'll repeat what the classic poster iifold said... if it's an online casino, why WOULDN'T it be rigged?

I follow you on the hold/hold/hold now

...umm as far as the online casinos ... I have hit numerous Royal Flushes ( always cashing out well ) ... I've thought about sites being rigged as much as many but idk. Hit a Royal on one site after playing for just a few days once and hit the Royal other night after only playing a couple weeks tops on site. I was putting in major time and playing pretty much perfect strategy ( which I have learned from playing video poker for some years now. ) Let me see if I can find this Youtube link of these guys who play V poker for a living.

Here ...it's one of these if you want to enjoy good listens sometime: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...1scSzE-xuFVn6F

Casinos uslually only give half the comps on video poker than they do on regular slots.

that make sense big joe because of the low variance of many of the machines such as Jack's or Better ( which is all I play is JorB)
