#38I have had a couple massive misclicks in online poker back in the day, nothing you can do.
But a couple good points made here in the thread - don’t email cuz then the book can freroll you, and bet the other side asap to just eat the juice.Comment -

#39Probably best advice.Originally posted by BuckyOneI have had it happen-the only solution is to bet the other side as fast as possible and eat the loss. It is very important to have enough funds in that account or other ones for backup. Otherwise, it is too dangerous to be in the live betting business.
I bet live more than I do pre game so of course misclicks have happened.
You may have free rolled yourself, the book might’ve refunded your win and taken your loss lolComment -

#40a few years back i made a live bet on oddsmaker. when i went back on the site an hour later i noticed my balance was missing about $5k. somehow about 15 bets were placed on random games for the max amount allowed. 3 of those bets were placed with a time stamp w/a 1 second difference from 3 other of the random bets. by the time i noticed these bets, the games were over. i think i lost about 12 of those bets. i remember like 5 bets were on the Marlins to win @ -500ish....they ended up losing. oddsmaker claimed i made these bet willingly. when i pointed out those time stamps of 1 second difference, they agreed to refund those 3 bets. but they still tried to claim i made those bets, even though that was physically impossible. they have since upgraded their software.Comment -

#41Huge thank u and props to heritage. They reviewed my acct and since I’ve never done this before and the bet size was so much larger thank my average bet they credited me the money back.
They totally did not have to do this as it was my mistake

#43ive done this on heritage and immediately got on the phone with wagering department. The problem is that the live wagering is outsourced and they don't control it meaning they couldn't do anything for me. You must lose a ton to heritage for them to gift you this one. Make it count.....Comment -

#45I feel your pain, in a sideways sort of way, glad you got your back.
Here in NJ, I've mostly used DraftKings since I started. And I won a lot quickly, then started getting greedy.
I had a lot on Memphis live-bet when they lost to Phoenix in the last second or so. When Phoenix's odds became perfect for the hedge/small win flip, at +1600, I hopped. Got a communication error. Then my $100 bet said can't do it, only partial approved (NO IDEA how much the partial would be without going into a different screen, doing more work etc etc).. tried again, at +1500, as it was dropping fast. Same deal. Tried going into partial, odds were now below +1000, communication error. WTF. Never got out, as Phoenix rallied quickly, and this BS took a lot longer than it should have.
Since that app updated recently, I've tried getting in on multiple live bets for a good flip opportunity, and have gotten numerous network errors, communication errors, and they never go through... and like before, by the time I close it, re-open, etc, the window is long closed. I sent two emails last week about this, and expected a response (not action, just a tough shit reply), but have gotten nothing.
Already opened a new account on another service and will withdraw from DK shortly. Unacceptable overall, though several losing anger bets since then have been all my fault.
Again, glad yours worked out.Comment -

#50Not surprised at all. Sportsbooks are businesses and they put the customer first. If something makes sense you have to consider it at least. As someone who's run a business before in the past, customer service always comes first. If you're betting $50 a game for a year and never anything more and suddenly you put 500 on a live bet, that's most likely a mistake, especially if you message them seconds later.Originally posted by phillyhata1Huge thank u and props to heritage. You said you have your own business right? Or are working towards it?

#54Always working towards it. You're taking what I meant out of context. Was not being condescending toward his monetary situation (none of which is my business). Was making a point as well as an observation that he comes in here gloating after making a dumb mistake and then insults the members that he's asking advice from. Only thing I've assumed here is that the OP is a complete asshole. An assumption I won't back up from.Originally posted by Goat MilkWhat is your obsession with going "pro"? 1 finding enough outs to carry the action required $25,000,000 in bets with a 1% edge
2 having that kind of cash to put into a bankroll
3 shit probably payroll to actually physically get that many games bet and covered
