If it was me and I wanted to "hedge", I'd tease it with the Bucs +5 and over 48 to at least win my initial wager back. You then have a chance to win all of your bets.

Was thinking about a tease too. A lot of options. I like to take the gambling out of these decisions as much as possible, and shouldn't let my massive asss whooping I took today play a role on future decisions but hard not to.

Desperate teams have looked pretty good today

In general id let it ride and be ready to hedge in game if there is a chance for a double win.

    I like the bucs though.

Looking for an in game double win probably what I’m leaning toward, however nervous with the bucs as they’ve been so quick strike, and Steelers can start slow

I hate hedging without having a chance to double dip and win both bets. I don't see the Bucs winning the game without the game being high scoring, so teasing the total down makes the most sense.

Does not matter who will win or lose you can guarantee yourself profits, in this game that’s a win. Take the fukin money or gamble I always take the money

If you're a waiter making 7 bucks an hour, go find another restaurant.

Take emotion out of it and hedge. You should ensure some profit no matter what the outcome.

In these circumstances it all boils down to asking yourself these things:

    1. How hard will you be on yourself if you dont hedge & guarantee yourself a profit.

Is it going to eat you alive for days or weeks?

Or are you ok with it and look at it as "eh i took a shot on the big payout & lost, not a big deal".

    2. How important is that guaranteed money to you.
Is it chump change to you or substantial?

The Steelers could be -2 by later today.

The answer is always YES. The only question is how much. Steelers win gives you over 3000. Shame to not win something. The amount you bet depends on how sure you are of Steelers. I say bet 1000. I do like Steelers though

Hedge something so you don't walk away with nothing. At least enough to cover your initial bet and a few hundred dollars. Also, I agree TB looks like a better bet. Too many people are getting caught in betting a team's history rather than what they are doing this year. Look at last night's game as a perfect example. PIT is an absolute dumpster fire currently both on and off the field.

Gambling is about profits . If you aren't in it to turn a profit , no reason in doing it .
Absolutely you hedge , if the opportunity is there , try to middle . Only way to lose is by doing nothing and Pitt wind up losing .
Throw a Dime on Bucs -120 , come out maybe Bucs winning by 1 , hit the Bucs ML+ a drop down to a 2 teamer . I mean they could tie , anything is possible . But you would still hit the 2 teamer should that happen and push the Bucs ML Bet .
But I would definitely hedge to ensure the profit but it's always the question , I do simply to get that profit, never know later when you may need it but very seldom bet parlays aside from bet pts .
Good luck on whatever you do

I would definitely hedge. Put a grand on the Bucs so you will still make a nice profit if the Bucs win but can still route for the Steelers for the bigger payout. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

I'd hedge off some, depending on your likes, but I'd be looking for a good line on live betting. Couple quick scores by Pitt and you could really make some dough.

It's kind of a no brainer for me. You can hedge down the middle and guarantee about 5x your initial bet. Even if you really like Pitt, I'd throw ~$500 on TB to guarantee a small profit.

throw 800 on the under... only way I see Tampa winning is if it stays low scoring. leaves you more outs I suppose.

If you have reached a point in your life, or in your gambling debt, that a GUARANTEED $1600+ win is not your only option, it really doesn't matter

Hedge by betting the under? How the fukk do you guys come up with this shit?

Hedging is done to guarantee a profit. One of the two bets WILL be a winner when you hedge, betting the total and he could lose BOTH bets. That is not hedging, son.

    common!

Not entirely, but it just blew my mind to see such a really dumb suggestion - bet the UNDER (and possibly end up with nothing)! fukkin nonsense.
