Yeah I'd agree. Other than announcing the scores and telling spectators to be quiet they typically don't tend to do much in a match. You couldn't play an NFL game without refs but you sure can play a pro tennis match without umps. Especially if the court has Hawkeye.

At big tournaments the matches are sold by session and usually has one womens match and one mens match. The men are selling the tickets not Serena. Nobody is there to see Serena stomp around the tennis court whining like a little bitch about sexism when we don't care if she is out there anyway.
