He couldn’t get Coinbase to work so I mentioned circle not knowing
So basically he is looking to send to a book
After he funded circle no send option
What are others like Coinbase ?
Apparently I gave him bad advise so he can withdrawal it

Circle dropped outward sends of Bitcoin a long time ago.

He'll have to withdraw back to his bank and try somewhere else.

What happened is Circle let you trade bitcoin for free, so the big exchanges like Coinbase essentially bought them off to stop them from allowing free trades so now we have to pay 1-2% fee to trade bitcoin. I loved using Circle, quick transactions and zero fees.

    squareup.com

Going by what a few users have posted it's nice and easy and none of the crap associated with COinbase.

You can also buy through a blockchain.com/wallet now too, as another simpler option for new users.

I use coinbase to cash out, but to buy you are best of just doing person to person exchanges, no 2-3 day wait

Circle will not let you withdraw. Basically buying Bitcoin from them is no different than buying stock from a brokerage.

If you want to buy Bitcoin with the ability to send, use the "Cash App" (it's owned by square as Opti was referring to). Lets you withdraw from the app, but can't deposit Bitcoin into the app to sell. Will need an ID to have the ability to withdraw and will take a day or so to activate (I think every state but NY has the ability to buy Bitcoin on the app). Can purchase up to $10k a week and withdraw up to $2k/day and $5k/week. No fee, but the spread is between 1-1.5% of the market rate.

Just make sure you withdraw to a clean address (no previous transactions) or use your own intermediary wallet.

Tell him to use localbitcoins.com its a peer to peer exchange.

he can buy with cash deposits to US bank accounts, or even paypal, but expect to pay a hefty fee.

you can use coinbase or gemini they both have the best rates the catch is you got to launder the coins
understand the blockchain it is a chain of custody for transactions
so if you buy on coinbase and send it direct to a book Coinbase (CB) sees it and they shut your account for violation of TOS
so you got to launder it send to a 3rd party wallet and send from that 3rd party wallet to another wallet and then to the book and the chain is broken. They only go a couple layers deep and then they assume it was not you and dont close your account
    so CB to 3rd party
3rd party to another 3rd party wallet
2nd 3rd party wallet to book ALL GOOD

safest safest way is a mixer but just be cautious that the mixer is safe and not a scam

this process is the same problem with LBC and Paxful, they both will cause your CB account to be closed, be careful
I use Gemini and CB to blockchain wallet one and send to btc.com wallet and then to BOOK. works for years!
