BCS title game: Could both teams have 1 loss??
    Its very possible!

LSU still has Florida and a conf championship. USC still has a couple of top 15, make that 3 top 15 teams to play. Cal has two monster games. Ohio St is suddenly looking dangerous and might have the easiest schedule coming in now that Mich has dissapeared. Did I leave anyone out?

It could be. Two teams ranked 1 and 2 sitting at 11-1 and 12-1.

John did you leave out Wisconsin and South Florida? I am saying that Wisconsin has a shot but South Florida's schedule isn't very favorable though.

I wouldn't be shocked if LSU got upset by Kentucky, Alabama, or Florida.

I wouldn't surprised at all if USC lost to Cal or Oregon either.

On top of the teams you just mentioned LSU has to play Arkansas and Auburn. They may have the toughest remaining schedule in the nation.

What happens when all the top teams lose and Boston College or South Florida go undefeted?

I think that if USC and LSU each have one loss and BC and USF go undefeated, USC and LSU will still finish 1 and 2 because of their conferences. BC and USF need USC and/or LSU to somehow lose two games in order to crack the Top 2.

lt that is interesting and probably true with south florida, maybe with bc.
wisconsin or ohio state on the other hand will almost certainly be in the title game if they stay undefeated and usc or lsu lose.

this will be an interesting year to say the least. there will be quite a few teams at the end with a legitimate gripe imho, and like always more chatter about a playoff.

college football is still the only "major" (i know it's not professional) sport where a team can go undefeated and not be the champ.
                    that is completely ridiculous.

I think there will likely be a one loss team in the championship. But I think the other one will be undefeated - USC being my guess.

I dont think Boston College or South Florida can crack the BCS computers EVEN if they win out. They will need teams on their schedule to start winning and thats not going to happen.

They will have no one to blame but themselves. BC schedules UMass(and barely wins), Army and Bowling Green and South Florida schedules Elon(who?) and Fl Atl.

I know the big boys throw in tune-ups but they also play top 20 teams and conference championships. If you are a second shelf program you need to go play someone decent to give your BCS ranking a chance!

Huh? Where'd they go? You're saying OSU will have an easy time going into the Big House and winning?

                                  Look out for Arizona St.

I personally think that LSU has the best team in the country. That said, I do NOT think they will go undefeated playing in the best conference in the country. If they do go undefeated, then I think they should leapfrog to #1 over USC, even if Trojans go undefeated too. Not that it would matter at all, since those two teams would then settle things on the field.
