Anybody reach the point where winning doesn't feel as good?

When I win a wager I feel less and less satisfaction because I think, that "should have happened." When I lose it's frustrating and annoying but when I win I feel less and less joy. Is this normal?

Winning never feels as good as losing feels bad. That's because we expect to win.

Winning doesn’t seem to make me happy. I just move on to the next game. If I hit a big parlay I would be happy.

Sounds like you are all used up and stressed out. Maybe take a month or two off and then come back. I once felt that way years ago. I was completely burnt out. I took a few years off from gambling and SBR. When I came back it was fun and exciting again. Nothing is worth doing if there is no joy in it. Life is too short pal.

Try "value" betting more. Take more dogs, low dogs, like in the +105 to +180 range since youre more likely to win more of those. When you win it will be a lot more gratifying and when you lose it will feel like it was suppose to lose since it was a dog. Total opposite effect. Create the experiences you want in life, control your own destiny, and tell the wifey to kick rocks write your own future as if the world is in the palm of your hand.

Only a purely recreational gambler would have to ask this question.

Bilzerian has a good thing about this on joe rogan podcast. Basically about how winning big in poker didn't feel good anymore but his huge losses sucked.

This isn't a forum filled w/ Psychology PhD's. But SwJohnson summed it up quite accurately.

You have to celebrate each and every win, remembering losing is a recipe for beans for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    BUT....

Wait until the final horn sounds before celebrating.

    You're such a clown.

Everyone knows that guys that refuse to pay off their debts (point debts, at that - ha ha!) are typically huge winners in life.
