    Acquiring Longoria and McCuthen makes Giants an interesting "win now" team. They must have taken their every other year streak ending 2017 season to heart! Will be curious to see how improved they are in 2018.

    Considering how little Pirates got for Cole I can't imagine a whole lot. Plus from what I've read sf really doesn't have a lot in farm system to give up.

    Giants is definitely in win now mode - this team tends to do good on even years !! Since 2010 they won the world seris 3x 2010-2012-014 and made the playoffs in 2016 - there bullpen still sucks !!

    That whole division is stacked. Don't think it a forgone conclusion doyers win it. Pads the only easy out of the 5 teams and their farm system rated pretty highly I believe.
