Pitt CBB (-144) over Montana
Ok, so unless I'm severely out of the loop, Pittsburgh is a better
basketball school than Montana. Pittsburgh's home opener tonight
is the real start for their season, not the weekend travel fiasco
to Navy, where they lost to Navy in the aptly titled Veterans Classic.
Montana beat Whitworth 72-60 (Whitworth?) now they head on a
4-game road trip.
Play Pittsburgh -2.5 or -144.
Good luck, but sPitt is absolutely awful.
Me saying that may give you the W though.
Stallings is terrible, and they will be lucky to not finish last in the ACC.
Pitt has no talent, what happened to them.

Well Snowy I would tend to agree with you as the Griz haven't beaten a Power 5 team since Travis DeCuire took over the program in Missoula. I will tell you that the Griz program is declining big time since Larry K left to Utah. About the only thing the Griz have going this season is the experience yet not much on the talent part. They did lose their prized transfer from Washington so that will also hurt this club. But it was an embarrassment that the Griz could only beat D3 Witworth by 12. I know Pitt has all new starters and is picked to take dead last in the ACC but with what I see over here they should still be able to take care of the Griz. If not Pitt may not win a game this season.
Kevin Stallings happened to Pitt. He’s terrible, but doesn’t have much support either. Wouldn’t surprise me if this is his last year at Pitt.

After four players from their 2016-17 squad graduated, five others transferred and another one was dismissed, the Panthers lost 10 scholarship players and will begin the 2017-18 campaign with 11 new players, nine of whom have never played a Division I game. Among the 75 major-conference programs this century (since the 1999-2000 season), only three teams have lost more players than the Panthers in a given year.

Montana just played a division 3 team, Whitfield, and won by 12 and got out rebounded 42-33

Their season starts tonight. Btw, they matched up well but couldn't
make shots. Marcus Carr especially took 8 FGA and hit none.
I don't see this happening on their home court on a Monday night.
