**dustin johnson joins choke list of sergio and greg norman

the only 3 guys to blow 6 shot lead going into final round

seemed like dj was the likeliest candidate to "blow" a lead

    WGC event in OCT??

Had no clue they were even teeing it up for real.

With Nike bailing out of the golf business and Tigers impact all but evaporated, the writing is on the wall.
Masters will always be an important and fabulous weekend. The regular tour events will be losing sponsors and revenue
    fast and furious.

Not as strong as usual for a wgc event but plenty of world class golfers. heavy on international guys.

tiger has not been relevant for years.

maybe thats all people care about, but golf is in such a better place now. so many young stars

OK, lets discuss. My point wasn`t that Tiger is or has been relevant to wins/tournaments or Majors. His impact on the game went so far beyond that. Ratings and purses imploded. Nobody of these so called young "stars" you refer to have come close to picking up that mantel.

Golf in such a better place compared to early 2000s ??? What u talkin` bout Willis?? C`mon man. There is absolutely no metric to validate that claim.

he's still up by 6 shots

to say it wasn't a big deal is ridiculous, it was a WGC event and dustin johnson tied for the biggest blown lead in pga history

above and beyond legacy issues, sponsorships, and the mental toll this might take... it was an immediate almost $1 million difference

POS PLAYER TO PAR R1 R2 R3 R4 TOTAL MONEY
    1 Justin Rose -14 67 68 72 67 274 $1,660,000
    T2 Dustin Johnson -12 68 63 68 77 276 $679,667

I knew Koepka was doomed and would blow the lead, but to see Johnson do it too. Early season PGA drama.

It's a wrap around season now, with the 2017-2018 season starting earlier this month.

The brand new cj cup last week had like a 10 million dollar prize pool.

Ratings may not be what they were with tiger. I have no idea.

But purses are not going down at all.

you've said it's not a big deal 4 times now in this thread

this is a BETTING SITE, we're looking for betting angles, i don't give a shit about his career earnings

dj is now fade material after this collapse... there will be a carryover and he has always been mentally weak
