Cleveland at -3
I like Cleveland at -3. Cleveland will miss Irving in the postseason but his defense was garbage and Cleveland should be better in the regular season since this team is much deeper. Cleveland is moving Love to center which should space the floor better than Thompson was in. Boston should struggle defensively with Tatum and Irving in, and Boston has no one to guard Lebron with Heyward at 3, Boston doesn't have strong frontline.

James game time decision
Lebron played last week while hurt. They then shut him down for the last 2 preseason games. Do you really think he won't play after a week of rest? He's playing for sure.
I'm more interested in the Under. Cleveland's defense is damn good right now. They close out to shooters like I haven't seen in a long time. I'm not sure their offense has gelled enough to put up a lot of points but they are going to be one of the best defenses in the league.

I meant to say tomorrow. It's not likely to change to "out" rather to be listed as "probable." He'll most likely play a limited game but he could be fine by then.
And I agree, with a line of -3 it will likely grow a bit as we get closer to game time and Lebronda gets even more rest. By game time there will be a public reaction to whatever the news will be. Until then, it should creep up towards -4, or maybe more.

Think it will take both teams some time to gel. Irving will be out for blood.
I'd be careful with the total, Lebron hasn't played much in the preseason so its hard to know how good the Cleveland defense is, but Tatum and Irvin struggle defensively and it should be an up tempo game.
I think Irving will have a big game, but I think that if he tries to takeover the game it will hurt the team.

Easy cash... Cav's defense is legit but they let up in that 3rd quarter which they did a lot last year too. I think it comes from Lebron. He seems to not give a fukk, stop hustling and gives up easy baskets. Once this team gels, they are going to shut down a lot of teams.
may this thread serve as a lesson that beating the closer is more meaningful on the nba than in any other sport
