    OMG - the Falcons win

Wow, I thought the Lions scored a TD on the last play of the game but the refs said he was down? how did that happen? I was on Atlanta -3 and just got a bail out.

    I'm stunned. WTH happened?

Crazy. Overturned it and said Tate was down by contact before the plane. There was 8 seconds on the clock. DET had no timeouts, and I guess by rule they have a 10 second run off so they called the game.

    Wild.

Horrible horrible call. Impossible to overturn a TD call based on the footage.

Refs were trying to fukk the lions all throughout that final drive.

Detroit didn't have any timeouts left, so by rule there's a 10 second runoff after a review. When he caught the ball there's was only like 6 seconds (maybe 8?) but he was on the ground tangled up. No way could he get up and get back set for a 4th down shot. Very bad beat for Lion backers and a miracle cover for ATL folks.

    ATL backers be like...

The ten second runoff in that situation is a bone job! There is not enough time to snap the ball anyway so essentially the game is over on a close play that gets reviewed with 10 or fewer seconds and no timeouts. I guess illustrates some value to holding one timeout?

    Boy Oh Boy....The 10-second run-off was a back-breaker for Lions backers.
Deep sigh of relief for Falcon backers.
I had no dog in that fight but what a crazy game ender.

It was a bad call and is a bad rule. Game should not end on a review period!

On further review, the clock was probably at 11, maybe 10 seconds. There was plenty of time for the Lions to get back to the line IMO. That is a tough loss right there.

    Why?

All the money was on ATL, at least at 5Dimes

    ATL> $75,354 59.40%
    Det.> $51,504 40.60%

I think the clock technically was at 11, although the only reason it was still at 11 was because the scorer started it slightly late, you cant run that play in 1 second.

He couldn't have gotten up in 8 seconds and moved about 10 feet for a quick QB sneak? Guy runs a 4.5 40.

If anyone in here thinks they can make a general assessment about Vegas shops by using 5dimes numbers, get out of here now. 5dimes is an nickel and dime operation compared to Vegas shops, who will NEVER reveal their real money numbers to anyone. As far as the play goes, it was the correct call. The receiver was CLEARLY down BEFORE he reached the goal line.

Did you see the picture with Tate's knee down, defender's hand on his shoulder, and the ball short of the goal line? If you have, you would have to agree the correct call was made, as difficult as it was.

Interesting. Tell that to all the polls that virtually gauranteed a HRC win over Trump based on "public" representation.
