    Ive thought about this before, why chose -0.5?

    Sure its even and makes sense, but from a betting perspective its the same as -0.0001 or -0.9999

    Haha funny. I had Vikes ML 2H (-115) on Heritage. Opened -135...lots of Saints backers were sweating that +1/2. Cook almost made them pay with that last run. After Brees got the predictable garbage time TD.

    I am sure they put the quarter point out there so if you bet it and win, they will say you took a shot on an obviously bad line. If you lost, no problem. That's how they roll down there.
