Long ago we used to hit harness races at Cal Expo. It was predictable to a certain degree. I learned something that later led to exacta success with horses.

I was young but quickly learned that while the circuits and races were about the horses, betting was only partially about horses. An equal if not bigger part was about trainers and more importantly the jockeys.

The jockeys rotated. Learn and track the odds of each and you could tell by the numbers when they would hit.

    Good stuff for sure.
