So hard to bet against Brady at home. I'm here in New England (not a Pats fan) and the general consensus from die hard sis they may lose. Again it's the Pats and you just never know. Wouldn't be surprised if they blew KC out either.

I'll likely tease KC and also put a unit on them +10. That's a lot of points to cover especially with Brady's Favorite target Edelman out and not being a mobile QB, age, etc.

    Best of luck

only shot they have is if the game is close throughout.

KC has no receivers and is not a come from behind type of offense.

I agree. Home opener for the champs, I don't care if Edelman is out, Brady has proven time and time again he can make scrub WRs look like Pro Bowlers. They roll.

Chiefs defense no cupcakes. Brady is older and knocking off the rusty shoulder early plus down a WR now? I'll take KC and the points.

I agree. Chiefs defense can cause havoc and they cover well. Plus Andy Reid is at his best when he has extra time to game plan against a defense. His record as a coach in opening day games is 10-8 but 7 of those wins have come on the road.

Of the Chief's 5 losses last season, only one was lost by over 9 points; the first game against the Steelers.

I'll take Chiefs spread. Brady may be very good, but he ain't gonna be winning championships forever and ever.

Yes. It will be a sharp vs. square battle royale tonight. It's KC or nothing. Andy Reid 16-3 (going by memory) as a 8+ dog. He knows how to keep a team in a game--especially with month's notice. GLTA

Don't think Edelman a huge deal long term as they have plenty of wr talent. Short term however I wonder how quickly pats adjust to essentially switching their offense from a horizontal sideline to sideline attack to a much more downfield type offense.

Will there be any line movement toward -10?

I get the feeling that people know the Chiefs are too good to be catching +10.

Well they play 6 games in a division with a bunch of crap teams that will certainly help the scoring average.

Most games went over last year jj. New era of football with all the illegal hit penalties and pass interference penalties. Receivers no longer scared to go down middle. Besides most of SBR squares on under.

I'd be shocked. When last time a team even came close to such a thing? their spreads already inflated laying this many to a always solid kc team. They cover this in impressive fashion their spreads be threw the roof sooner than later.

The only way the Patriots cover is if they score 30+ points. I don't see a 20-10 game. If it's under 48 then it's close. If it's over 48 it could go either way. Taking Chiefs and the over.
